It is a small point-and-click game where you play as a tiny courier in a soft and strange spirit world. You deliver letters to different animal-like characters. The letters come from black smoke that turns into words and falls into a deep hole. A small eye-headed character picks them up, and you help deliver them. The puzzles are not very hard, but you need to pay attention, remember places, and sometimes connect clues from different areas. You may solve something and then forget where to go next, so you spend a bit of time exploring again. Each character usually wants something before they accept a letter. After helping them, you enter a strange dream-like space where the letter is delivered in a symbolic way. The art looks very unique, with hand-drawn characters, painted backgrounds, and paper-like objects. The world feels calm, strange, and a bit mysterious. The achievements are also easy to get, so you can finish everything without stress.
----------------------- Tiny Echo is a point-and-click game with VERY light puzzles (if you can even call them puzzles) where you follow a spiritual creature that must deliver letters (actually prayers) to sleeping entities, so they can help people with things like rain or cold, for example. Or at least that's what I understood; I could be totally wrong, because in the entire game not a single word is spoken or written. It took me 1 hour to finish (getting 100% without using a guide), the rest of the time is spent getting the remaining Steam cards (wonderful). Overall, I liked the art; I found everything very curious and charming, but I wouldn't pay full price. I don't know how I acquired this game (probably a bundle), but if I had paid full price for a one-hour game with little gameplay and where the whole story depends on your interpretation, I would be disappointed. In short: if the game is stuck in your backlog or has a 90% discount, take advantage of it; otherwise, only buy it if you have money to waste.

I try to take things on their own terms. When it became obvious “Tiny Echo” was closer to a hidden object game than a point and click adventure, I took it in stride. I think, in intent, it’s akin to a Takashi Kokubo album: atmospheric, with a deft technical hand, happy to eschew a lot of the traditional baggage/expectations to give you an experience. The art is astounding (except the fire, which looks like it was slapped together in MS Paint on the last day), and the sound design and music are lovely. I’m enamoured of the artistry. But all that is draped over a shaky foundation spent trying to decipher the designers’ neuroses. Why would I click on a firefly—with little to make it stand out—so an animal could chomp on that firefly, for me to click on the animal, for the animal to spit the firefly out, for it to then wake up someone? This is, in a bad way, dream logic, never foreshadowed or hinted at. The slowwww walk cycle becomes a point of frustration when you’re trying to figure things out, too. Truth be told, it ends up boring. It’s a game that squanders the considerable talent at its disposal. Maybe next time.
Tiny Echo "Nothing happens." That's certainly one way to look at it. It's not grandiose in the way a lot of games are where they manipulate an equally large emotion out of you or try to. It's quiet, basic, an exchange of thought and emotion in nothing more than a whisper. No dialogue spoken but rich in metaphorical visuals, all hand drawn by the way, that tell a story of a dying land and its people sending prayer requests with a courier who meets the spirits, sometimes doing a ritual (very light point and click puzzling) to summon and give them the request to be answered. Stuff happens. It's just meant to be a lullaby not a mosh pit at a metal concert. :p
It's nice but short. So short that after I 100%-ed it without any rush and tension, I had to keep the game idle for another 3hours to get all its steam cards.
Tiny Echo is a cute little point & click adventure with fantastic hand drawn graphics and honestly, some really lovely music. The game gives you almost no direction, so you'll spend a lot of time exploring and figuring things out for yourself. The puzzles aren't particularly difficult, but they do rely on remembering where characters and locations are. My only real question was why the main character looks so different from everyone else - who knows but it definitely stood out.
u sell more, so cn ok?
Relaxing little experience without words.
