Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.57/day in the week to Aug 7 → 9.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Saw GabSmolders play this and thought it looked so cute and cozy I bought it for myself. This game makes me want to sip my coffee under a cozy blanket and just play the day away. <3
I was hoping for a cozy, escapist experience, but I found the game's social and political messaging much more prominent than expected. Many of the characters, storylines, and dialogue seemed focused on progressive themes, which wasn't what I was looking for in this genre. Players who enjoy that kind of content may appreciate it, but it pulled me out of the experience and made the game much less enjoyable. A clearer indication of the game's themes in the marketing or store description would have helped me decide whether it was a good fit before purchasing.
Maybe im not the target audience for this game, I don't know. I really wanted to like this game, played the demo and later got it in a bundle. I booted it up excited to play, not remembering more than a good vibe from the demo, and it went downhill from there unfortunately. Fern (?) The first real carachter you meet, after old book lady, is such a quirky chungus and it just sets the tone for the whole thing. It's like reddit: bookshop edition. I'm not saying games should stay away from certain topics or not carry the developers voice, far from it it, art is by default a extension of its maker. What art shouldn't do is be is condescending and making me feel talked down too. The gameplay loop need to be MUCH stronger to be that bold, bordeline arrogant, in tone. Again, maybe this resonates with you but personally I couldn't see pass how shallow the carachters and game felt, relying on players aligning opinions and stereotypes instead of well-rounded carachters with some complexity to them. I'm sorry, maybe this game is for you but it's not for me since the game don't respect the players time, leave absolutely no room for interpretation and heavily (ironically enough) relies on tired tropes and one dimensional storytelling.
Tiny Bookshop is one of those games that really helps to calm me down after work. I breathe SUCH a huge sigh of relief when I start opening up my bookshop for the day and watching as customers browse my inventory. I always have such a pleasant time in the game and I cannot recommend it enough. What I like: * The different books and their synopsis that you can read and maybe find something you actually want to read in real life as well * The locations where you can set up shop are all very cozy and I love watching the day pass by * The gameplay is simple and it feels good when you have a book recommendation you can offer to a customer who is looking for assistance * The quests are pretty easy in the sense where they usually just get a little time to fulfill and being more mindful of where you set up and what inventory you stock * I like how the decorations give you buffs to specific genres and also cost a small maintenance fee to have. It's really small so it's not a big deal, but I do like the thought of having it so you have to strategize what decorations you want. What I wish were different * I don't really wish there was anything different, I really enjoy the game for what it is If you're looking for a small and cozy bookshop simulation game, then you'll definitely find it in Tiny Bookshop. This is not a fast paced management game where you're trying to maximize your earnings at all. Rather, it's a nice slow sip of your favorite beverage as you watch customers find their next read.

An interesting story set in a small town with people who are perhaps too obsessed with books. But you fit right in, with your cute bookshop on wheels! Sell, recommend, and learn a thing or two (at least I did) about books, people, and yourself. The Books are titled after real life works by real life authors. With multiple genres, quests, characters that feel human (but still likable) there is truly something for everyone in Tiny Bookshop!
I really enjoyed this cozy game. Absolutely suitable for relaxing after a workday. The game is mostly about reading book descriptions, analyzing context and customer requests, and sometimes evaluating risks (for example, what the customer wants more: a manga format or a plot with romance, as you are not guaranteed to have a book with both). It is fun to sell different books to different people, and the little story sidequests linked to certain characters or calendar events are cute and entertaining. One of the best features I didn’t expect but truly liked is that all books in the bookshop are real, sometimes quite unexpected, from Jane Austen or Shakespeare classics to modern apocalyptic webnovel/manhwa. Extremely fun, some books I saved for myself to buy and read in real life. Definitely recommend!
