Over all good game. def. gunna be a classic and a game that will stay in my lib. for a long time. feels like what everyone else is saying. its like punch out but with harder punches and odd ball fights. i liked the game will play again. and will be gifting to others!
The closest thing to Mike Tyson's Punch-out. The art direction and music are amazing. The gameplay is you will love it or hear it. Attach don't always match the description of the tutorial and it does not teach you about attack where you are suppose to not react or neutral, in order to block them. Recognising attack string is where you need to practice. If you are getting hit, check some of the guides on how to avoid certain attacks since they will repeat their attack more than once per phase. I used audio queues instead of focusing on animation as if there are 2 similar attack from a direction with different ways to avoid or block, leading you to a coin toss unless you also use audio. You will have to sweat in order to beat the final boss, since he is the ultimate test on if you learned anything from the previous fights. The survival mode is a bit misleading saying you can only kiss the canvas once, meaning you have 1 life/revive? Nope, you have none, but it's very weird that the mode says no saves, no revive, but the choosing of difficulty throws you off? Still a good mode for those who want to 100% and want a tougher challenge. My criticism is that without looking at a guide, you will struggle a lot unless you throw fights to learn how to avoid certain attacks, since there is more than 1 way to block/avoid certain attacks and that the final boss's damage needs a bit of a nerf, since you guessing wrong 2-3 times gets you KO-d, which is fine, until you learn that he changes most of his attack string each phase, adding more attacks and sometimes even not using 1 of his 5-6 attack strings, unless you have forgotten about it and uses it at the worst possible time, leading to you taking almost 1/2 of you stamina because of a 1-10% attack string, and sometimes the string get mirrored meaning they do the attack string but the directions are swapped. I'm not sure if restarting the final boss fight multiple times caused this but it throw me off a few fights until i got lucky and managed to not get that attack for most of the fight. It's honestly worth it, but it's not for everyone, if you like pain and love games that test your reflexes with parry or dodge mechanics, this one is for you. Otherwise, best save yourself the headache and frustration.

It's crazy how bad this at recreating a game with a very simple gameplay. Highschoolers 20 years ago did this really well in flash while slacking off. Everything feels cheap and chinsy. Worst voice acting i've ever seen in a videogame as well - like, worse than chaos wars! Bizzare.
This is a “Simon Says” type game. You need to “read” your opponent’s moves to react properly. The challenge is that recognizing those moves is a trial-and-error learning process, since each enemy telegraphs their attacks differently. I’ve never really played a “Punch-Out” style of game before, and I can say it’s not my cup of tea. It’s not specifically a problem with this game, I just don’t enjoy this genre. I can’t seem to find the fun in it.
To be Honest this was for me that kind of game, that you see un inst, yout or twtr. And say "Ohhh what a cool game, i will buy it and play it!!! :D" and leave it in the library and forget about his existence... WHAT A MISTAKE. Beacause the game is Awesome and BLOODLY BEATIFUL, i enjoy all the challenges and creativity of every bossfight, the color and the smooth flow of the animations are pure GOLD and is preatty difficult btw, but that is part of the journy, I recomend it a lot, give it a try :D!. The only thing that I can complain is that some boos fight, like the seventh one is preaty bugged and some times you hear the move that the oponnent do, but you get hit and don't understand anything, bc the animation was bugged, that is preatty anoying when you are in the Survival Rumble -_-
