Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.57/day in the week to Aug 15 → 9.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Thronefall is a minimalist strategy game where you build a humble kingdom by day and defend it by night. Balance economy and defense by fortifying walls, recruiting troops, and charging into battle yourself to protect your stronghold from relentless waves of attackers.
Perfect for quick sessions or fortification marathons, step into a streamlined and endlessly replayable twist on tower defense!

10 Maps. From the mountainous Nordfels to the vibrant Wildbach, progress through a range of maps with different terrain, weather, enemies, buildings and challenges.
9 Unlockable Weapons. As a Warrior King, seize a weapon to take with you into combat, from Battleaxe to Blood Wand.
Over 50 Unlockable Perks. Take up to 5 perks that bestow certain advantages, and optional Mutators to ramp up the difficulty.

Protect your Kingdom with Walls, Barricades, Shrines and Towers.
Expand your economy with Houses, Bridges, Gold Mines, Harbors, Mills and Fields. These buildings grant you gold every morning – if they survive.
Research upgrades with the Castle Center, Blacksmith and Royal Forge.
Build your military with Barracks, Archery Ranges and Hero's Quarters. Your forces include Knights, Berserks, Crossbowmen, Fire Archers, and special Heroes such as Golems and Mages.

When night falls, an increasingly strong succession of foes threaten to overwhelm your Kingdom. The sun only rises when they're dead.
From wooden Barrel Knights and Flying Mages to Ogres, Slimes, Wasps and Catapults, the land is teeming with danger.
If your Castle Center is razed, you lose.
As King, lead from the vanguard and defend your little Kingdom til you see the sun rise.

5.5/10 minimalist tower defense. a game to turn your brain off to. - not really about what you build in level so much as the 5 perks you went into the level with that effect the game the most - cant choose where anything goes + tiny unlock progression system would get on sale
This game is the distillation of an RTS and the rounds last just long enough that you get hit hard by the "Just one more" after you finish one. Juggling the unlocks for unit, hero, or building buffs is a lot of fun as well. Highly recommended!
This game is exactly what the "about this game" says it is: a minimalist strategy game. It's distilled down to the most essential elements of a strategy RTS that punishes mistakes like one too. It's just amazing. For the low asking price, it's completely and 100% worth it. You can choose modifiers to change your playstyle to suit your preferences or to help you win the map. That's the best part, there isn't only one answer to every level. It's flexible in that way. I played this game on the Steam Deck, and it's really really perfect for that. It runs beautifully and the graphics, while simplistic, are more than enough to communicate what's needed to you. This game is like a tower defense mixed with an RTS, in that you need towers to defend your base, but you also need income infrastructure to support your upgrades to defend against future waves. You can retry each day if you fail though, which is nice because if you upgraded the wrong thing and failed the wave, you can apply all the lessons learned immediately without restarting a whole map. That's just beautiful.
Neat minimalistic good looking tower defense game that works nicely. I gave up very soon because there is too many perks and mutators to select before starting the mission. I am paralyzed by the choice. Other people may find this feature a positive addition to replayability.
"Hey Queens and Kings"? Cringe.
Simple and fun, yet it makes you think; striking that crucial balance between economy and defense is not as easy as you'd think. What IS easy is stating that this game is an addicting delight. Indie devs continue to put AAA studios to shame with gems like Thronefall.
Yea, no idea why people like this. It's okish, but I've had more fun playing Kingdom Rush 15 years ago than this "modern" minimalist version. Bad UI, bad pacing, uninteresting mechanics, weird design decisions. Just skip this one, there are a million better games.
ive only beat the campaign so far and the game is very good theres a big variety of approaches and decisions that u can do in this game when it comes to your build or the way ur upgrading ur buildings and troops ect. but im pretty sure if you were to try and beat a certain level with every or a lot of modifiers you'd have a hard time unless you minmaxed your build to that specific level, but overall its cool. i dont think this is in the game but the way these maps are built just screams for some sort of steam workshop integration where you could build your own levels and play other peoples stuff that'd just make this game x10 better ngl
