Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 28 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Purchased a while back and it was hard for me, then recently started to play again and I simply cannot put it down. I'm so into it! I love the atmosphere, survival, inventory managment, art style, music, and just all of it. It has challanges that you have to overcome, maybe avoid that wolf, and what polar bears?! lol it scared me. Anyways, GREAT game and would recommend. Its like the long dark but top down style. the winter apocolypse of project zomboid.
Bad Tutorial. The first opponents you face are insanely powerfull. Yeah its a survival. But the toughest thing to survive is the awful controls...

I didn’t feel challenged or curious. I just felt done. ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ This is strictly a first impression, and first impressions matter. THE GOOD - Very cheap on sale (often drops to under $5, making it low risk for anyone who is just curious and not expecting much). - Clear tutorial structure. - Frequent looting and scavenging. - Easy-to-read survival systems. - Calm, atmospheric soundtrack. THE NOT-SO-GOOD - Running is locked behind a skill point. You cannot run at all without spending a skill point, turning a basic movement function almost into a punishment. - Combat lacks depth and defense options. There is no dodge, block, or counter system, making combat feel like trading hits instead of skill-based survival. - Sleeping wastes resources without skipping time properly. - Feels unfinished despite being a full release. The game is not broken, but many systems feel unpolished, like early access mechanics sold as complete. - Not enough curiosity to keep me interested beyond the main objectives. FINAL IMPRESSION: 3/10 If I wasn’t doing this for my Steam Roulette series, I would have quit within ten minutes because the game constantly asks for patience without giving anything meaningful back.
Danger, Randomness, and a Lot of Snow
I played The Wild Eight solo, and what pulled me in right away was how unpredictable everything felt. The world is full of random events, quests, and locations. One moment you’re freezing to death, the next you’re opening some strange bunker door or stumbling into a new puzzle you didn’t expect. It’s dangerous, but in a fun way; you always have that choice to fight, run, or just sneak past and hope for the best. Exploration was easily my favorite part. I loved wandering around just to see what I might find next, some cool tools or weapons, a new ingredient, a blueprint, or a random event that completely changes the situation. Every time I uncovered a new location, I felt that little surge of excitement. The game definitely has its flaws. Combat gets repetitive, and I wish the weapons felt more unique. And some small bugs can be rough, once all my items disappeared at my corpse location. I could see myself coming back with friends someday. Even with its rough edges, The Wild Eight is a strange, unpredictable little adventure that’s just fun to get lost in.
I do not recommend this game. Throughout the gameplay, while hosting, items would occasionally disappear from the inventory, and there were bugs with the shelter. This greatly ruins the mood, and I have no desire to finish the game.
Пропадают стаки материалов при попытке переложить в себе. Перезаходишь в игру чтобы это исправить, в итоге снова происходит то же самое. Очень жаль что такой баг не исправляют, так как игра интересная и хотелось бы продолжить играть
AbandonWare, unfinished and broken, don't buy
"Birlik olalım" dedik, 10 dakika sonra herkes son bisküvi için birbirine girdi. Sürekli odun arıyorsun, sürekli ateş yakıyorsun, sürekli bir kurt sürüsü kovalıyor ve her seferinde donuyorsun.
Wonderful game. One boss in the middle of the game blocks the player's progress with a surprising force worthy of its name. the level designer should be fired. I mean stuck in a bug.
