The Walking Dead: A New Frontier

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier doesn't quite reach the highs of the previous two seasons but I enjoyed Javier as a character as well as his families story. There are some memorable moments throughout and it's definitely worth experiencing it to continue the story. Telltales world of the Walking Dead is very engaging and enjoyable to play through.

Из всех частей игры TWD, я могу назвать третью - самой лучшей. 90% игроков она понравилась меньше всего, из-за того что Клем смещается на второй план. ГГ теперь новый персонаж Хави Гарсия - не настолько яркий как те же Ли, Кенни, и сама Клем, но это как *глоток свежего воздуха*, чтоли? Одного сезона было достаточно чтобы уместить и грамотно преподать его историю. То что Клем на втором плане - не сильно значимо, потому что она по-прежнему остается большую часть времени на экране, она постоянно появляется в катсценах, и с ней есть также флешбеки, которые рассказывают, что происходило между вторым и третьим сезонами. Сезону твердая 10/10, потому что именно в нём можно заметить огромный скачок драйва, напряжения во время игры, вариативности в диалогах, улучшения графики. А так *Новый рубеж* проходится спокойно за 8+- часов

This season is considered the worst season in the game. I came in this season to complete the story of the second season. Suddenly, I discovered that I was playing as a second character, and the character in the games loves his brother’s wife, and I see this as a betrayal of the brothers, and I do not like these things.

Honestly, looking back, it's pretty damn good. Not flawless, but a solid interactive movie from Telltale, worth it on a large enough sale. Gameplay is, as usual with Telltale, lacking, but you're playing it for the story and choices. And frankly, it's solid. I believe Javi was likeable for the most part, Gabe was a pretty realistic teenager, David was problematic, but had a good character growth. The only person I genuinely hated was Kate, but to each their own I guess. There were a handful of choices that felt like actual choices and not just dialogues changed, with multiple valid endings instead of "wipe all progress, so we can start with a brand new group" like they did in the first and second season. My main complaint is that including Clem in the story made it so many people were biased towards her, negatively impacting Javi's story, but if you try to immerse yourself into Javi himself it's pretty damn good. So yeah, I'd say it's worth a playthrough.
