WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE POWER?
🔵Play God!
Guide your fledgling sentient species (lovingly called “nuggets”) from Stone Age cave painters to star-faring explorers.
Command more than 15 godly powers to guide, protect — or discipline — your followers. Create devastating tornadoes, smite naughty followers with lightning bolts, or shake and sunder the very earth.
Observe Nuggets' every move as they work and fight to survive.
Research more than 200 technological and societal advancements.
Discover and colonize a galaxy of procedurally generated planets, each with unique ecosystems and challenges to conquer.
Manage the delicate balance of planetary ecosystems to help nuggets thrive. Your decisions and your followers’ ' actions influence global climates and have real environmental consequences. (Try not to kill them in an ecological disaster — well, unless you want to, of course.)
Unravel the layers of a deeper cosmic story that challenges your perception of who and what you are — and reveals unexpected twists!
The Universim is a strategy city builder game with “God” elements where you guide a civilization (Nuggets) from the Stone Age to the Space Age. Manage resources, dynamic challenges, and ensure your Nuggets can survive, thrive, and spread to the stars.
The Universim features more than 200 research perks that will help you to shape your civilization. Be as benevolent or malevolent as you like to drive nuggets to evolve, advance, and expand. (Even the best civilizations need an occasional smiting).
Every planet in The Universim is procedurally generated and offers unique characteristics and challenges, ensuring that every world and every game is unique and engaging. Ecological balance and resource management are critical to success. Nuggets have their own needs and behaviors you must attend to. Your guidance will shape how they deal with conflicts, natural disasters, alien creatures, and other civilizations. Their growth and evolution depends on you!

Excellent game
Closet thing I've seen to Populous in a while. I miss Populous. I love this game!
Such a fun game. A little slow at first, but once you unlock more things, it becomes that much more fun.

Absolute "needle in a haystack" sort of game. Bought it because I didn't want to buy Spore again. I will be playing it again. Fun camera controls, round world flyover is a blast. Tech tree mechanic is nonsensical and fun, research times are fixed (not tied to a resource or point generation*) apart from the bonus techs. God powers are always relevant, but their importance will vary with game stages, from Telekinesis to Lightning and finalizing with Rain and Trees. Fun City Management with some necessary automation as you progress. Some bugs I noticed: On rare occasion picking up bonus boxes with telekinesis will bug out, fix by restarting. Narrator's voice is too quiet in the end. On the flop side, there is basically zero real documentation for this game. LUCKILY the tutorial is excellent (mostly) and what isn't covered isn't hard to figure out. Regardless of what planet you are on your nugget screen will identify any individual nugget as "Citizen of Mother Planet", even if you rename the Mother Planet. My only gameplay complaint is the absolute resource dependency for late game. Water gets destroyed and natural clouds are not enough to resupply your nuggets with enough drinking water, the cloud machine helps but you really need hydro colliders on an ocean. Every planet needs a steady stream of Fuel and Chemicals to continue operations ( I avoided manufacturing off the Mother Planet to alleviate this), but even with windmill power there is no way the resources don't pose a hard limit on the endgame. Basically doomed to run out of water.
This is an easy game to hyper-focus on. Starts a little slow as you wait for more nuggets to work at the different places, but it gets faster as the game goes on.
