WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE POWER?
🔵Play God!
Guide your fledgling sentient species (lovingly called “nuggets”) from Stone Age cave painters to star-faring explorers.
Command more than 15 godly powers to guide, protect — or discipline — your followers. Create devastating tornadoes, smite naughty followers with lightning bolts, or shake and sunder the very earth.
Observe Nuggets' every move as they work and fight to survive.
Research more than 200 technological and societal advancements.
Discover and colonize a galaxy of procedurally generated planets, each with unique ecosystems and challenges to conquer.
Manage the delicate balance of planetary ecosystems to help nuggets thrive. Your decisions and your followers’ ' actions influence global climates and have real environmental consequences. (Try not to kill them in an ecological disaster — well, unless you want to, of course.)
Unravel the layers of a deeper cosmic story that challenges your perception of who and what you are — and reveals unexpected twists!
The Universim is a strategy city builder game with “God” elements where you guide a civilization (Nuggets) from the Stone Age to the Space Age. Manage resources, dynamic challenges, and ensure your Nuggets can survive, thrive, and spread to the stars.
The Universim features more than 200 research perks that will help you to shape your civilization. Be as benevolent or malevolent as you like to drive nuggets to evolve, advance, and expand. (Even the best civilizations need an occasional smiting).
Every planet in The Universim is procedurally generated and offers unique characteristics and challenges, ensuring that every world and every game is unique and engaging. Ecological balance and resource management are critical to success. Nuggets have their own needs and behaviors you must attend to. Your guidance will shape how they deal with conflicts, natural disasters, alien creatures, and other civilizations. Their growth and evolution depends on you!

The game is excellent! Gorgeous art design with a strong and satisfying identity! Addictive! The mechanics are very well developed, complex and extensive. The gameplay is incredibly satisfying and rewarding. It combines the best of Civilization, Age of Empires, and Stranded, creating something new and tremendously fun! It’s crazy that I had never heard of this game before, and that it costs less than 10 euros (it’s worth so much more)! The game even includes programming details that show the developers’ impressive level of care and polish, such as genetics among inhabitants, personal character traits, and skills that evolve with age. All in all, the game is excellent and keeps surprising you at every turn. I highly recommend it!
This game, especially in early stages, wants you to watch your ant farm. Once stuff is built you sorta just have to let it run more than Im used to in other settlement sims. It does, however have more for you to do in the mean time. This feels more like the god-games of old. If you remember Black and White this is that without the pet to deal with. Im enjoying the heck out of it. The auto generated roads are fun but a bit of a bastard sometimes

I you ever played black and white this is in that genre, there are very few titles like it. Also, there are only men and women. 10/10
Wonderfully beautiful game. The ambiance is very nice, music is gentle and smooth. Has a little bit of a learning curve. After a little while you have to remember that it takes a long time to get where you want to be. Runs very smoothly on my pc; however, the game requires quite a bit of ram for max settings. It's very fun and reminds me of many other past games I've played years ago. Spore, Simcity, Rimworld, Black & White 2 with it''s god powers back in the mid 2000's. One can easily get submerged into gameplay and the longevity of the oh I need to get more wood, then planks, then oh, I need to get gas, steel beams, and electronics chips. A very long progressive gathering and balancing of disasters, people management, tossed in with some side quests and emergencies. Have not gotten to end game yet; however, so far it is going quite well. One word of caution, do not overbuild like I do, it sits forever and the buildings decay. I have to learn how to gradually build outwards and slower less buildings. 9/10 for sure very wonderful peaceful game. Even if at times, you play GOD.
this game would have been amazing sadly for me it dident fully pay out, but the game is still realy fun to play its sometimes theres alot of waiting for stuff to happen. 6/10 for me.
Definitely do not buy this game. it lacks any replay ability. this game was also long abandoned and is unlikely to get a single update. extremely disappointed that i put more than an hour in this game because i cannot refund it
I have mixed feelings about it. Calling it complete, would not be an overstatement. But there could also be more. Considering the last update was an experimental building (sic) that never received any follow up, its valid to say it was kind of abandoned. As per usual in godgames, the powers you get, are more or less useless, because there is no reason at all to use your cool destructive spells. So you're left with filling water via rain, throw around some healings, or increase the mating speed of your fledglings. Besides that, you just play a rather mediocre city builder. The tech progresses only via time spent. I did go afk while letting this game run at max speed, just to advance in it. At some point its absolutely valid to just let the game run and having it play itself. Which tells plenty about how engaging it is. If you fetch the game at a sale for <15€ its well worth it. But not at its current price of 20+€
I have to update my review to reflect the fact I was wrong about this game getting further updates. Their Discord sheds a lot of light on how abandoned this game has been, since there are a few game breaking bugs that people have been posting about with NO REPLY from a dev since 2/26/2025 which I think is unacceptable even if they personally feel their game is complete. They need to honor their commitments and fix these bugs. I have very much enjoyed this game and have taken the time to unlock everything and get all the achievements, but I do not vibe well with a game that is abandoned to this degree.
Интересная смесь симулятора бога и градостроительного симулятора, но мне не особо зашло, да и оптимизация ужасна.
I like this game a lot, I think that the devs put so much work into it, and the delivery was flawless. I think this game is absolutely worth it. If you are trying to decide to get it or not, I am telling you, it will amaze you.
