Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I suppose this depends of your frame of mind. Most people who play a video game want character interaction and story-line that is not just easy to follow but dynamic. Well I am sorry unless you are playing this game for the purpose of learning about Computer Science, or Logical Thinking (I play to improve my logical thinking, and problem solving skills), I think most people would call the game difficult to follow, and boring. There is only one choice in the game that affects the outcome of the story and that is on the final level, The story line is essentially dictated to you by the T.O.M (NPC) and Sarah (NPC). Then you have extra bits of story-line and information scatted around in PIO's NPC (Non Player Character) PIO (Player Interactive Object) Example unless you were studying Computer Science why would you want to know any detailed information about Alan Turing, why he made the Turing test, its original purpose and the original team that he worked with. Its seems pointless to put that in there as it contributes nothing to the story-line. Only to the purpose of an educational platform. So if your playing for education it is good for passive learning and keeping brain functions sharp. However if your playing it for a video game, it really is not a very good video game. More like a Futuristic version of Brain Trainer with A.I as the Theme. So my previous review from 2 years ago is as above, and I had chosen to not recommend the game to other players. However after playing it through again, I think I would recommend this game. it's a great puzzle solver with a computer theme, and it calls out idea's of philosophy, morals and ethics for the player to consider touching the player on aa spiritual level. Would I still say it's just for education ? Nah the game is much more than that it just took me two years of using what I learned from the game the first time I played it, and a second play through, to realise this.
Pew pew
I have pirated this game once and decided to buy it and play it after it's been some years. Needless to say, I've enjoyed it more than last time I did. Overall game rating 8/10, lore is OK, story is a lot better. In my first playthrough, my biggest complain were the puzzles, because they were too easy (having just recently finished talos principle). Replaying it now, I feel like they are still simple, yet they don't feel like cheap or worth no effort, so I still enjoyed through them. I never needed a guide apart from twice during the special parts, but oh well. I quite liked the puzzle mechanics, especially in the later levels it was fun to figure out what to do. Unfortunately this game suffers a bit because it's also easy to bruteforce it, given the limited amount of "puzzle configuration". The characters were likeable...enough. Actors did a good job portraying their respective characters, but I do not find Ava to be all that likeable of a character.
And the irony that she's being manipulated by both entities. Kinda funny yet sad.
Overall, a shorter, but still enjoyable ride.
In the Turing Test you play as an engineer in space named Ava, and set in the distant future, you enter the game on a seemingly unmanned station on Europa; one of Jupiter's many moons. The station has an AI named TOM, who plays an important role in the story. Slightly educational in regards to learning a few things about our solar system along the way, but the focus is more on the story and the puzzles itself, and the story is quite engaging. Although your character carries a "gun" like tool, be rest assured that this is not a weapon or for violence, despite its outwards appearance and how it is carried, but is simply transfers energy, which you use to solve the puzzles. Even with similarities to other games, this is its own game, and not a rip off of games like Portal. If you do like the game Portal though, you'll probably also enjoy this game as well. Themes: Brief violence: Regarding the alternate endings (Potential spoiler here), due to the possibility of in game violence shown, it must be stated that there is a live gun at the very end, and depending on how the game ends, it can result in violence and death of characters (briefly, and no blood or gore is visible). It is possible to complete the game without this happening, though the threat is still present. *** ~ House Blythe, curator for Non-violent Entertainment: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35899705/
An interesting storyline that really makes you think about humanity and what YOU would do when faced with certain dilemmas. The puzzles were fun and interesting, some of the optional puzzles were HARD but others not so much. I would recommend.
---SPOILER ALERT SONU---
A game with a good concept and decent gameplay, that unfortunately outstays its welcome. At its core the game is exactly what it looks like (probably): A narrative focused game that uses puzzles and problem solving to help move things along. For those who don't know a "Turing Test" is a test of Artificial Intelligence capability for solving 3 dimensional problems in a way that, in theory, would operate on the same level as human beings. The story itself is pretty well fleshed out and somewhat interesting....but to be honest the game lasts too long. Eventually you've seen all the puzzles and all the variations, and the only thing the game can do is throw the same stuff at you, but make it ever more complex and convoluted. At some point it just becomes a slog to get through. And while I didn't lose patience with the game, a mishap destroyed my drive and forced me to re-install many games in my library...and I chose simply not to reinstall and consequently finish this one. So I guess that suffices as the review. The game just wasn't interesting enough to me personally to keep me invested. Though I will point it out this may not be the game's fault, since I've read and watched a ton of stories regarding AI prior, so there just isn't much here that I haven't already seen.
The Turing Test is a puzzle game developed by Bulkhead Interactive and published by Square Enix. It's been out for a few years now, but I've finally gotten around to playing it and I have some thoughts. The Turing Test is a first-person puzzle game that has you playing as Ava Turing, an engineer sent to a research station on Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. You're tasked with investigating what happened to the station's crew and solving puzzles along the way. The puzzles themselves are pretty interesting and range from simple block-moving puzzles to more complex ones involving energy orbs and switches. They're not too difficult, but they do require a bit of thinking to solve. The game's graphics are also pretty good. The research station has a very sterile, sci-fi feel to it that's reminiscent of the Alien movies. There's a lot of white and grey, which makes the few splashes of color really stand out. The lighting is also really well done, with shadows and reflections adding to the atmosphere. The story has a pretty interesting premise, with Ava being sent to Europa to investigate what happened to the research station's crew. As she makes her way through the station and solves puzzles, she begins to uncover what really happened. I won't spoil anything, but I will say that the story is well-written and has a satisfying conclusion. Overall, I really enjoyed The Turing Test. It's not the most innovative puzzle game out there, but it's well-designed and has a good story. If you're a fan of puzzle games and sci-fi, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
