About
A hero with a flaw
Wiktor Szulski is a thaumaturge, a master of mystical arts, who can peer into the hearts and minds of others, uncovering their deepest emotions, desires, and secrets. However, his powers also feed into his flaw of pride, which can present him with various opportunities or lead to negative consequences.

Untold mysteries waiting to be revealed
No secret or intrigue is safe when the thaumaturge is around. Your unique abilities will give you a great edge in solving detective investigations, becoming a savvy socialite or even dealing with the criminal underground. Explore the world using Wiktor’s perception, seeking personal secrets hidden in objects, that provide different perspectives on events that may seem obvious at first glance.
Taming mythical creatures
As a thaumaturge, you draw your power from the ability to summon salutors – mystical, folklore-inspired demons that inhabit the ethereal realm. Use their powers to manipulate your foes, sway the minds of allies, and fight opponents in turn-based tactical combat.

Unique turn-based combat
Engage in deep, tactical combat against various opponents – some physical, others more elusive. Wiktor's thaumaturgical abilities let you bend the rules of reality, summoning demons to unleash powerful attacks or gain strategic advantages.
A rich gallery of characters
The early 20th-century Warsaw is a multicultural metropolis with inhabitants from all walks of life. Among them, you’ll meet historical figures like the monk Rasputin or Tsar Nicholas II. The story also introduces you to a gallery of characters connected to Wiktor’s troubled past such as his well-versed sister Ligia or Abaurcy, a childhood friend who turned to a life of crime.

This was an amazing game! Everything was so balanced. The artwork and voice acting were amazing. And every choice felt important. It is well worth the money.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I very much enjoy playing this game. Is it perfect? It is not. However its still a very cool game. I think its premise is incredibly unique. I haven't really played a game quite like this. I love the concept, the world, and the lore. I feel like the sequel they can fix a lot of the quirks and such that make it not a perfect game. I think the Salutors are really really well done! Each one is unique and I can get a sense of personality from each of them, I really commend the team behind designing them, they are the best part of the game for me. The voice acting really isn't the best. I will say, as someone who really can be bothered by bad voice acting, this one really didn't bother me. I will say I just don't believe those are the best voice actors they could find, as an actor myself I know just how many people audition and submit so I will clock them on that and hope that in a sequel they don't rehire some of those actors. But the main characters, who you interact with the most are good. I really enjoy following the story, I love a good mystery. I do agree with other reviewers, that the stakes don't feel very high but I find myself curious enough about what's happening and such, that drives me forward. I want to figure out what happen to protagonists father. They do spoon feed the clues for you and personally that is something I don't mind, as a player who always uses walkthroughs and such anyway. Maybe in a Sequel or something they can an easy/hard mode but I like how simple it is to move the story forward. The characters aren't the most exciting in the world, I wouldn't be upset if a second game came out and they had a whole different set of people to follow, but I do think every character is well thought out and has its own personality. I do experience a lot of lag issues, however I do believe that's much more a personal computer issue than a game issue, since I have similar problems with BG3. I will say I cannot imagine that this game is anywhere near as big or complex as BG3 so having similar issues is...interesting but again I think this is more a me issue than the games (i also know nothing about computers). I am bringing it up because I know other gamers also mentioned it. Overall, if you like well crafted lore, unique premises, turn based combat, mystery stories, nice graphics, this is a game I really recommend. Don't expect a perfect game but still a really solid fun game that is unique. I can tell a lot of love was put into this game and I really enjoy it one final thing: there is not romance options and I feel like that could be a fun addition of they were to make a thaumaturge 2
It's like Slavic Pokemon, you gotta catch all the monsters. There is just a bit more blood, booze, and hookers than in typical nintendo fare.
Overt leftoid messaging with the same amount of nuance as MSNBC posing as a video game, unless you are into that sort of thing (braindead) it's best to avoid entirely. An unfortunate waste of art/assets.
:////////////////////////////////////
I would definitely recommend the game. The carefully constructed story, set in Poland at the beginning of the twentieth century, is supported by very nice graphics, combining a realistic environment with stylized characters. Although the game is more of a classic adventure game, the original turn-based combat system gives the game another dimension and RPG elements. In my opinion, the game is very good and actually a bit underrated.
I enjoyed this game quite a bit right up until...
...it becomes clear that Rasputin is the major antagonist. The game locks your characters development unless you keep going back to Rasputin AFTER you discover he's manipulating you.
I couldn't in good conscious keep doing that just to "level up", and developing my characters is my favorite part of any RPG. I quit after 20 hours because of this. I feel this was a very poor design decision on the developers part, regardless of it making some modicum of narrative sense.
