Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very good game.
yeah good game bery good game
It’s the same game I remembered, just prettier. At the time of writing I have not completed the DLCs yet but the addition of a new dlc on top of it all does sweeten the deal. I usually don’t like remakes like this that just put a new coat of paint but it was on sale for 10 bucks so it was a good excuse to replay. The original still holds up graphically I must say though. A lot of the improvements come with the downsides of lower performance of an UE5 game, sometimes with weird graphical glitches such as square patches of the ground appearing here and there. I suppose considering the game’s setting it doesn’t actually matter that much but it’s obvious what are intentional graphical glitches and what aren’t. I got all puzzles, as well as stars (almost) entirely without a guide this time around, and either my memory of the first game gave me an advantage or I am just that much better. For the stars especially, I recall I had way more trouble than this too around, and there was only really one star for one of the earlier levels (involving numbered pillars) that I actually had to look up for how cryptic it was for the final steps of it. The star guides were excellent help. There also was only puzzle (weathertop) that stumped me to the point that I ended up solving it in an unintentional and hacky way that after looking up had me smacking my forehead because I deliberately overlooked one tool of the puzzle assuming it was for something else without trying it. Other than that, the puzzles in the base game aren’t the hardest compared to the Gehenna DLC (that I had to put down after beating the base game - I think it’s best to take a break before jumping straight in to that monster). The puzzles combined with the setting and music create an atmosphere that is wonderful and meditative. As for the story, upon replaying it, I think its simplicity and clarity makes me enjoy it more than the sequel. While it does feel a little philosophy 101 and some emails you find can be a bit cringe nowadays (some of it is almost straight out of Reddit comments along the lines of: ‘DAE love Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park?!? I love it when he says “life uh… finds a way”! Xdxd’), the voice recordings are far and away the game’s highlight for me. Towards the end of them they bring me close to tears, as a meditation on life itself and its meaning becomes an open question for the player to grapple with. It helps to be listening to them in a richly detailed environment, with the sound of water rushing and birds chirping and the wonderful chorus of piano and a choir.
An excellent well crafted remake that fixes all the problems of the original And adds a lot of quality of life improvements that you never realized you needed, such as being able to save the laser connector coordinates, and pause the timeline of the recording machine so you're less time crunched. This thing also added on to the originals reset mechanic by giving you the ability to rewind your progress back a few seconds so you don't have to restart the entire puzzle over again for making a single small mistake. The only complaint I have is the new graphics being largely unnecessary and actually detracting from the experience by causing loading times to be much more annoying and ultimately not looking that much better than the original. They've also been causing a lot of glitches for people which thankfully I didn't experience too much of but it's a factor. With all the positives I mentioned, along with the inclusion of the Road to Gehena DLC baked into it, I feel it is safe to recommend fully. Especially since this add even more bonus content in the form of the In The Beginning mode, Wherein you get to play as Doctor Drennan during her first Test run of Elohim And experience the almost surreal early interpretation of his AI before he took on his God persona.
Seems like a great remake of the original Talos Principle, which is an amazing puzzle game. This updates the graphics and adds some new levels, keeping everything else unchanged.
masterpiece
TOO MANY PUZZLES Towards the end, I had done enough puzzles and just wanted to get on with the amazing story.
