Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is Talos Principle, lower performance with slightly better graphics. Original game looked really good until looked closely, but such is fate of every older game. This new UE5 version does struggle a lot with performance. You will not be able to enjoy Raytracing quality if it costs you all your FPS. As for the puzzles, original part went very fast, but I played original game so that is expected. Still struggled a bit and had some fun.. Meanwhile, new puzzles "In the Beginning" are not enjoyable in very least. They are unlike original puzzles, where you need 'very long series of inputs in specific way' and nothing else works. So kinda reverse engineer very long puzzle. While this happened in Road to Gehenna or original Talos puzzles and Talos 2, these are taking this to extreme in not a fun way. Overall I cannot recommend this version, original runs much better and new additions are not designed in fun way for me.
This is a well designed and faithful remastering of the original Talos Principle game. Even if you've played through the classic, there is an included DLC here "In The Beginning" which greatly adds character, depth, and identity to the story in meaningful ways while also including arguably the most dense and difficult puzzles in the entire series, other DLCs included. If you enjoy puzzles, this should be a no brainer pick-up. With this said, there are a few nicks and knacks here which need mentioning. While much more refined visually, it does have moments where the added visual clarity ends up chunking performance even if only for a few seconds. I had to turn down the graphics significantly which was a let down given that this is a major selling point to the remaster. The base game is almost entirely 1 to 1 to the original, which is expected but disappointing for returning fans. There were some QoL changes, but I was hoping for more Easter Eggs and Star Puzzles. The DLC makes up tremendously, but I quickly stopped playing through the base game once this realization set in. The new puzzles are brutal. I managed to solve everything without looking up anything save to check to make sure a pressure plate was working correctly given there appeared no other solutions. To this end, a handful of these extended challenges are resolved through "pixel precise" solutions where you have to place lasers in positions which are really unintuitive and sometimes covered by foliage or other aesthetics which unfortunately add to the difficulty. This is definitely not always the case for the new DLC, but it happened enough times for me to find some frustration and I'm a nerd for this series. I hope the next game focuses more on other players interacting within the universe given the paint bucket analogies expanded on here through star puzzles and the overall story's expansion. It doesn't need to be Death Stranding levels of overlap, but I wouldn't be disappointed if Talos Principle 3 geared up in such a way. Highly recommend for those who have never played, and I'd say it's worth it on sale for those who haven't played the new DLC and want a challenge with some meaty lore bits.
It's fun. Kinda like Portal and Myst had a baby...who then went on to major in philosophy and religious studies...
The Talos Principle is one of my all-time favorite puzzle games (besides the Portal series and Baba Is You), and I totally recommend playing the Reawakened edition: I think the quality-of-life improvements (rewind, picking up connectors without losing connections, creating pause points in recordings) are game changer, the DLCs and the community puzzles expand the experience with refreshing new environments and puzzles. And since I'm interested in puzzle game design, I also play with the level editor and the developer commentaries add rich insights into the game's design decisions. Where I think the game doesn't keep being true to its design principles is some of the obscure and hidden star puzzles (prepare for some pixel hunting and "moon logic" riddles instead of puzzles), the
Milton dialogue trees
(where the goals to reach are quite unclear) and (fight me) also the sigil arrangers (the most complex of which can be rather frustrating due to the backtracking and the limited arranging techniques that can be applied via learning). I'm looking forward to the second part where I heard they eliminated most of these. But they haven't diminished my experience significantly. Overall, if you like to feel smart, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
