The Talos Principle 2 is a thought-provoking first-person puzzle experience that greatly expands on the first game's philosophical themes and stunning environments with increasingly mind-bending challenges.

Reviews
As a puzzle game I do not find Talos the Second to be particularly enjoyable, rather it comes across as.. tiresome. Tiresome to get from puzzle to puzzle, tiresome to walk about the puzzles themselves. While puzzle difficulty is going to be different for everyone, most puzzles don't seem to go much beyond their initial tutorial premise - and there is a mechanic to bypass them if they do get in your way. Overall too.. simple. Too formulaic. "We need twelve sectors, and twelve puzzles in each one. Fill 'er up." The gall to even consider following a floating orb across the landscape a puzzle or an activity worth doing. Talos II seems to be more about everything surrounding the puzzles. Wonderful environments, arguably excessively large environments, to emphasise considering the beauty of nature and force time to consider what the characters are discussing. The entire premise of what you are. Including and building upon the considerations of the first game. All the world building around the puzzles is enrapturing. The philosophy aspect can be difficult to encapsulate. Sometimes it feels like it goes beyond a simple 'is the thinking and feeling robot in front of you a person' level, other times for all its words and presentation, is it really? Some aspects are brushed on without trying to prompt any further discussion, or sometimes you might just be internally exhausted by the accusations of hubris by a certain pink robot. The point could be to go through the motions, to go through the discussions, and feel whatever you feel. At least your options of response are -usually- not just binary extremes. ..If only it was more fun.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

its just more laser and snap to grid annoyances rather than anything intresting. very familiar scenarios and placement of objects as the last time, i dont have the time to play this, its just wasted time again. blood pressure raising slop pap of a game
Millennial slop writ small. This sequel to the transfixing original is an exercise in trite quips and banal observations typical of millennial efforts to be profound in as few words as possible based on what they were told to think by their particular tumblr demigod. This game rides the derivative waves of the efforts of the original in every aspect of design and premise with none of the long form thought or sincere consideration of the human condition. Did the writers purposefully write this one silicon deep? The original stood on the shoulders of philosophical giants, but the millennial arrogance would have none of that and chose to shoot for the moon poster on their bedroom wall. I could blame development during the coof, but we all know that geniune human engagement would have been unavailable to them even without lockdowns. The vapid attempts at ironically distancing themselves from the ancients for fear of offending their equity pets precluded success in this venture from the get go.
A lobotomized gorilla could solve these puzzles.
Talos 1 is a favourite of mine but this one 70gb brick turned me off. Besides a lot of annyoing things in the game like: you can't read through the dialogue quickly and skip the audio because the sentences are not immediately present on screen (a big one for me), the awful tetris bridges, the lackluster mega structure which never felt mysteries, the other members of the crew talking in your ears whenever they feel like; and ♥♥♥ lazer beams! Anyway, Where is the melancholic loneliness? The feeling of a world slowly becoming absurd in front of your eyes? This game doesn't even try something like this. If I was exploring these places alone, and those places where not so samey this could've been a much better game. Imagine the game starting out with an empty, half ruined New Jerusalem. What a missed opportunity.
Interesting follow-up to the first game. I really hate UE5. The Serious Engine had charm. Oh well.
