It gets old quicker than other ARPGs, but it's fun enough while it lasts. Level design is meh, animations are meh, mob variety is meh. Upgrade systems are fun, gameplay is weird because it kinda requires auto-targeting (which is flawed), but it's fun enough. All in all it's about a 6/10 or 7/10 experience. It's good enough to pass the time for a while so I'm not gonna give it a negative review. But in an ARPG world where you usually put dozens to hundreds of hours in a single build, this is more like fast food. Co-op might help longevity, but it's single player only unfortunately.
Lets be real.. If you are playing for the story, its the wrong game... If you like numbers and the grind to get better items to keep pushing you wont have a problem with this game. There are two points if I remember that are basically DPS/armour checks that you must pass. Other than that youll enjoy the game.

7/10 It's you typical ARPG. Go through maps and kill enemies with different characters, get loot, level up, upgrade gear. Leveling becomes a crawl after 50. Gameplay is a bit slow in the beginning and there is too much confusing terminologies that you'll have to dig inside the stats menu to understand. A thing that really annoyed me is that "Attack Speed" means something else then every other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game in the genre. Crafting system is the best of any ARPG I played, You can modify and aspect of an item you want, but the tradeoff is that the materials will be a long grind. I've quit the game after killing the boss in the place where you get "pure slorm" at stage 50. I got really disapointed that there was no new thing to do or place to explore.
Sadly, this game gets boring fast.
map layouts made me stop playing this game, otherwise its okay.
Sooo buggy. Ui bugs, random crashing, from simple stuff. Doesnt explain many of the mechs either.
I started my ARPG journey many years ago with Diablo and then Diablo 2. More recently my favorite go to's have been Path of Exile 2 and Last Epoch. This game have almost everything I want in the perfect ARPG: - Multiple systems with deep customization and theory crafting - Deep loot system - Very clean and easy to use UI - Lots of equipment slots (I hate it when games give you only a few slots. What am I supposed to do with all this loot?) - Good music - Crunchy, weighty combat - Very nice looking particle effects - Plays perfectly on the Deck Clearly a lot of time and love when into polishing this game. I haven't even unlocked all of the systems yet but I can already tell this is a top notch ARPG that I'll be playing for a long time to come.
Fun with nice upgrade curve for couple of hours but gets boring and grindy at the later stage (after 10-12h mark for single character).
