Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Songs of Skydale is a colorful, old-school adventure RPG about exploring a world at your own pace. There is no need to follow a trail of markers from one objective to the next. Take a map, follow the clues you find, talk to the people you meet and see where the road takes you. Skydale is a world meant to be explored — not simply crossed off a checklist.
Wander through a vibrant open world filled with quests, dungeons, enemies and places to discover. Use paper maps to find your way and pay attention to the clues you encounter along the way. Sometimes the most rewarding discoveries are the ones you were not specifically looking for.
There are no fixed character classes. Choose skills freely and combine them with equipment, items and spells to create the kind of character you want to play. Build a warrior, mage, tank, assassin — or something in between.
When exploration turns into combat, use attacks, blocks, dodges, skills and items to overcome the enemies you encounter.

Got this from humble bundle. Someone put a lot of effort into this but it's not a game that I could appreciate or recommend.
Songs of Skydale is a great game for anyone who likes to play retro style RPGs. Pros - Unique art style - Great soundtrack - Large open word - Fun quests - Combat - Lots of items and skills - Well polished for being early access game Neutral - The gameplay is sometimes quite punishing - No quick save Cons - Enemy pathfinding could be better
(I got this game through the Humble Bundle) This game is in very early access. I do like the art style it's simpleness. I can see myself playing this game when I get a bit stressed out from life. Feedback for the developers: I would like to be able to change the controls. The text from speaking to NPC's looks a little blurry, maybe change the anti-aliasing for the text in such a way that it's still pixely but not blurry. Blocking didn't feel very effective, perhaps the enemies would be knocked back or become stunned on a successful block. Otherwise great game! I look forward to future updates!

In this video I take a look at Songs of Skydale, a retro RPG adventure game. Retro style but really well made. There is a lot of adventure and addictive gameplay but it is difficult. Don't go charging in or you'll just keep dying. Make sure you try to start with the small missions and upgrade your character, buy amour and better weapons. The difficulty level is great, it makes the game more rewarding and strategic. I had to get back from the wizards guild with very little health and I knew there was a lot of monsters. When I made it I was very pleased. A very well designed and fun game, take a look. I honestly can't remember how I got this game, probably from Humble Bundle as most others seem to have. Controls are terrible; this game BADLY needs controller support.
This game works but only in a broken way. I hate the sloppy combat. Controls can't be rebound. The tutorial isn't fully implemented: pressing 'I' does nothing and the only way to get to the inventory is to press 'M' to bring up maps. The music is alright but on too short of a loop. I'm glad I won this game from a giveaway on SteamGifts. I only wasted time on it.
This game is awesome! It's very fun and challenging ARPG with great pixel art. The game has exciting open world and there is lots of things to do. The combat is fast-paced and very satisfying. There are some minor bugs here and there but nothing ground breaking. This game has great potential in future when it's completed.
Got this game through the Yogscast Jingle Jam's Humble Bundle - I didn't remember about it for a few months, but I was looking for a chill game with quests and remembered this. I think this has a lot of promise, I like the art style and the soundtrack, it's nice and chill as I hoped for. Some thoughts for development: - As other people have said, being able to rebind the keys would be a godsend as some are very unintuitive and/or uncomfortable for me - Given that the character's appearance and identity hasn't mattered so far as I've seen, it would be nice if we could customise them a little, it would feel a bit more RPG than nameless-white-man-with-beard - Some of the dialogue looks like it might need a bit of proofreading: it hasn't been incomprehensible, but it has some bits I've noticed which make me wonder if English isn't the creator's first language because it's a little janky - Maybe I'm a noob (or am missing something), but it would be nice to have a free healing place in town, as I just got to a point where I managed to get out of an encounter with 40hp, but insufficient money to buy enough healing items to get enough health to do more quests to get more money, etc. I hope this game continues on its journey to release!
Still has some bugs but the devs are very active in fixing them if you make a note of it. I've played this game for about 6 hours now and I'm hooked. A few features I wish were around: saves inside the dungeons when on easy mode and quest markers. But the game is still in development, so who knows what will come? I think I'm only about 20% completed with the game. I've just been running around in circles and loving every minute of it. It's a great adventure style rpg with old-school graphics that don't detract from the fun.
I enjoyed what I've seen of this game so far. It's by no means perfect, but the art is appealing, reminds me of games I played when I was younger. The controls are easy to get used to. (Remember that the keyboard typically has two ctrl keys, use the one by the arrow keys xD. It also doesn't matter which arrow key you press to attack, the direction you're facing counts. Also took me a while to notice that.) My biggest issues so far: - Blocking feels unreliable. The combat system seems to encourage you to rely heavily on blocking, while there is a meter that indicates your... I guess blocking energy? I don't really understand how that system works. - Once you enter dungeons (also houses with monsters and things) you can't leave. Why? It's fine with small places, but when you get to a large one it becomes a death trap. You have no map, there are traps and monsters and no way to heal after using up your potions. Also the exit has an invisible wall for no reason. I don't get why that's a thing and it's a little frustrating to be honest.
