About
The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror set in 1920s Arkham. Deliberate, tense, and resource-lean: pressure builds as you push deeper, relief comes in brief refuge, and fear is something you manage. Mind your inventory, take on unnerving puzzles, and double back via unlocked shortcuts for supplies and upgrades.
A Roaring ’20s port city buckling under a supernatural flood. Tide-stained avenues and battered Art Deco. Speakeasies gone dark. Districts feel lived-in and water-worn, with routes by foot and skiff, shortcuts behind collapsed seawalls, and secrets tucked in boarded parlors. You’ll navigate a hospital where science hides its face, a fish market where the merchandise bites back, and descend deep below the city to where eldritch horrors stir.
A ritual gone wrong trapped her soul in the Dreamlands, and now malevolent forces have stolen her body. To rescue the woman you love, you must walk a dangerous path through catastrophe to the source of the flood — her presence always felt, but rarely seen.
The Slither animate the dead. Deep Ones surge from dark water. Shadows bend space and test nerves. Some fights must be met head-on; others demand a retreat to rearm, retune your build, and return better prepared. Or take on an optional investigation and come back with an upgraded gun.
Exploration is the key to survival. Read ritual residues, sift through grisly clues, decode journals that shouldn’t exist, and pry at masks that won’t come off. Optional cases never gate progress — but they unlock safer routes, hard supplies, and upgrades that change how you endure the next encounter.
The Sinking City 2 draws on Frogwares’ detective roots to deliver survival horror that runs deep and hits hard. Shaped by studio obsession and community feedback, it’s a faithful Lovecraft experience: myths made manifest, and the inconceivable fear that results.

Reviews
just awesome
Graphisms, arts, sounds are great, the story amazing. Combat not so much, depends a lot on dodging, and with a descent but slower than expected PC, near impossilbe, the always small inventory, the scarcity of ammo make it painful. The story telling deviates from the first one from an open world to a more linear narration by zones. but it makes the experience more smooth.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is an incredible modern RE-make inspired survival horror. It's definitely a departure from the first game but it retains the incredible atmosphere, visuals and sound design. The investigation system is vastly simplified compared to the first game, but this actually worked well given the new direction. It encouraged properly reading the notes to piece together puzzle solutions, which were all quite satisfying to solve. I'm a massive survival horror / Lovecraft fan, so this was an easy buy for me. I really hope they go on to make a third game because there aren't many Lovecraftian horror games that hit this quality bar. My first, fairly complete playthrough took around 12 hours on the hard difficulty (3/4), which felt very well paced, with no areas overstaying their welcome. The game also seems to have good replayability with an RE-style challenge shop, so I'm looking forward to additional playthroughs. Negatives: - Paid day 1 paid DLC mission. This really should have been included with the base game. - An overuse of the 'get ambushed upon picking up the key item' trope.
great game if you like resident evil remake games this is brilliant ...nothing like the first one more crazy story good gun play thumbs up for me
good game
Survival horror vecchio stampo, inventario limitato e munizioni scarse nonostante i molti nemici presenti. Storia molto interessante, senza spoilerare nulla, questo gioco insegna quanto l'amore possa essere, a volte, talmente egoistico da indurre a trascurare le conseguenze devastanti delle proprie azioni. Assolutamente consigliato.
I'm impressed! Recommend!!
If you love H.P.Lovecraft or anything mysterious, survival horror, scary atmosphere and some puzzles and investigations with action definitely a game for you.
Гораздо лучше 1 части, механики Резика пошли игре на пользу, головоломки нормальные ёбли как с Сайлент хилом небыло, Портит всё ♥♥♥♥♥♥ сюжет, концовка и нелепая стрельба
