About
The Sinking City 2 is a third-person survival horror set in 1920s Arkham. Deliberate, tense, and resource-lean: pressure builds as you push deeper, relief comes in brief refuge, and fear is something you manage. Mind your inventory, take on unnerving puzzles, and double back via unlocked shortcuts for supplies and upgrades.
A Roaring ’20s port city buckling under a supernatural flood. Tide-stained avenues and battered Art Deco. Speakeasies gone dark. Districts feel lived-in and water-worn, with routes by foot and skiff, shortcuts behind collapsed seawalls, and secrets tucked in boarded parlors. You’ll navigate a hospital where science hides its face, a fish market where the merchandise bites back, and descend deep below the city to where eldritch horrors stir.
A ritual gone wrong trapped her soul in the Dreamlands, and now malevolent forces have stolen her body. To rescue the woman you love, you must walk a dangerous path through catastrophe to the source of the flood — her presence always felt, but rarely seen.
The Slither animate the dead. Deep Ones surge from dark water. Shadows bend space and test nerves. Some fights must be met head-on; others demand a retreat to rearm, retune your build, and return better prepared. Or take on an optional investigation and come back with an upgraded gun.
Exploration is the key to survival. Read ritual residues, sift through grisly clues, decode journals that shouldn’t exist, and pry at masks that won’t come off. Optional cases never gate progress — but they unlock safer routes, hard supplies, and upgrades that change how you endure the next encounter.
The Sinking City 2 draws on Frogwares’ detective roots to deliver survival horror that runs deep and hits hard. Shaped by studio obsession and community feedback, it’s a faithful Lovecraft experience: myths made manifest, and the inconceivable fear that results.

really good game and its also very friendly with new player and people want some challenge.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The Sinking City 2 is a beautiful game. Some will grumble that the game deviates from the more detective style of the first one and it has. However, as this is a game made in Ukraine it makes sense that the developers have been affected by the war and the game reflects it. At its core the game is a story of hope against overwhelming odds, and the main characters fight for it. The ambiance is top tier, and the game looks phenomenal. The game play will either make the game for players as well as push others away. It is very much in the vein of Resident Evil. You can craft ammunition and healing items, you can find unlocks to increase your stash size and improve your weapons. The balance of how many resources you have against the enemies you have to navigate through is where the tension is. I remember going back to a previous zone because I got a key to unlock a puzzle and having low health, no ammo and one small healing item wondering how on earth I was going to make it through. You can however unlock items through solving mysteries. After you build up point, you can go back to the main menu and unlock weapons, outfits and even unlimited ammo which makes additional playthroughs closer to Resident Evil 5 than the earlier installments. However, I do wish they gave out talent points a bit more readily as you will be starved choosing between reloading quicker, taking a bit less damage or getting more ammo per craft (which is very helpful early on). Explore everything you can, dive into the moody atmosphere and just let the game take you where it will and you will not be dissappointed. I enjoyed my time with it and I think you will to.
On a night thick with fog, I found myself wandering the twisted alleys of Arkham. Shadows seemed to shift and whisper, promising secrets only the brave... or the foolish could uncover. The town was a breathing entity, its air heavy with unseen dread. Every corner hinted at madness, every step a dance with the unknown. Unseen eyes watched as I moved, the darkness alive, pulling me deeper into its embrace. The puzzles and challenges were whispers from a realm not meant for the sane. Reality frayed at the edges as the narrative unfurled, absurdity and terror wove together, luring me further into the depths. Arkham itself was a riddle, its answers lurking just beyond perception. And then, as I left the terrors behind, I got home, booted up the game, and had fun.
The game plays very much like RE2R and RE7, I really like the difficulty balance - normal plays a bit harder than RE "Normal" difficulty level, but not as punishing as "hard". The investigation difficulty can be kept at "no hints" option, it's not that bad. The game takes just under 15 hours to complete with a bunch of back tracking for resource management & puzzle solving. Overall quite a fun ride, will wait for all the DLCs to come out to replay this one. To those who are coming from the first game - this one is not open world, but is a lot more focused on each area you are going to be investigating, and overall is a more complete product than the first Sinking City.
Lovecraftian mythos + resident evil + horror more focused on survival = this gem
It's an awesome game but there is an issue that's runing my enjoyment. When I go to stomp an enemy on the ground, they clip through me and grab me from behind. I am overreliant on healing items while exploring and don't have enough for boss fights
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (plus long aurait ete mieux) bravo aux personnes qui ont realisees cette oeuvre d'art
it's a pretty decent modern RE homage!
