Recently bought the sims 2 mainly because I heard it was better than trying to get sims 3 to work on new higher end systems. I can say that after a good hour or two of playing, my first experience with the sims 2 was better than I originally thought. More indepth than I gave it credit for, even with the packs the game is really fun. I can see where it's a little more challenging, but it keeps you entertained and stressing over your own sims actions lol. The game tells you they are smart, and I believe it. Fully recommend this game for any new or old sims lovers.
Worked perfectly fine, now it is buggy since weeks and the last two weeks it is crashing out when returning to neighbourhood without actually saving. No solution from EA in sight, despite numerous complaints from other players over WEEKS.

Comprei e joguei apenas para comparar com a Ultimate Collection, que já possuo. Na minha opinião, não vale a pena para quem já tem a UC. A Ultimate Collection é mais completa por incluir o pacote IKEA. Fora a compatibilidade com Windows 10 e 11, não há diferenças significativas entre as versões. Além disso, o Graphics Rules Maker resolve facilmente os problemas de resolução da UC. Por outro lado, se você ainda não tem a Ultimate Collection, vale a pena comprar esta versão. Afinal, The Sims 2 continua sendo, para mim, o melhor The Sims já lançado.

this is the best sims out of the entire series as it is the most in depth out of the rest of them such as they use cupboards while cooking, you can select turn ons and turn offs and this comes with all the add ons as well so a great deal
Paying this much for a 20-year-old game and it still crashes and keeps kicking me out — typical EA.
I love this game and would've gave it a positive review. But the game had other plans. Just recently i started getting this issue where HALF of my neighbourhoods have disappeared and the google / reddit answers are not helping. I've only got 4 neighbourhoods and even pleasentview or whataver it's called is gone too. Mind you i have onedrive turned off, i have no syncing turned on for this or anything. I don't understand what's going on until this magically fixes itself which i doubt or until i can find a solution. I cannot recommend this game. It's a re release and it shouldn't even be having these issues. But here we are. Classic EA and classic me not being good at troubleshooting. Bad combo
