The Sapling is a short simulation game where you design your own plants and animals, and put them in a world together. Or you turn on random mutations, and see what evolution does to your ecosystem!

NO CAT but it ok

i really enjoy how realistic and fun the evolution in this game is. it is quite amazing.
its very good but i hate the way the game saves files and for some reason you can't make animals that have no limbs
I don't have a huge amount of experience, but enough to leave a review. The game is excellent—truly great within its niche—but the planet creation tool is poorly designed; it’s very clunky to use. The terrain tools are fine, but the temperature settings... good grief, they are just awful. How am I supposed to figure out the exact temperature just by looking at those colored lines? Please, just add numbers: 0 in the middle, then +10, +20, +30, and so on. I’m tired of guessing the temperature (I'm talking about manual adjustment). And the worst part—I don't know why, but if you spend a long time in the world editor, the game crashes; I lost two worlds that I’d spent ages creating. It’s a great game, but it needs serious refinement. (Sorry if this is hard to understand; I used a translator, so it might sound a bit awkward.)
whoever hates this game is a teribe dispicable shud, i like the game and its colors, very indie
it's pretty charming and neat, it would be better if the instincts system were a little more complex, though.
very good game 10/11
