Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.13/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Samaritan Paradox is set in Sweden in the 80's. Ord Salomon has agreed to help Sara Bergwall find the book her father, Jonatan Bergwall, wrote before he died. During the course of this treasure hunt, he learns that Jonatan was investigating the weapons industry, and more specifically some covert affairs with foreign dictatorships.
But more questions arise. What is the book about, and why does Sara want Ord to find it for her? Did her Alzheimer's-stricken mother know the secret before she grew too demented to share it? And how did Jonatan actually die?

Reviews
The Samaritan Paradox is a beautiful game, with a very lovely soundtrack and vibe. The story is engaging and the puzzle aspect of the game is very good in my opinion - while overall quite logical, there are some moments that require a bit more thought and quick thinking to get through, but it fits the narrative very well. The voice acting is good, and the pacing of the story is great as well - the ending is however somewhat abrupt in my opinion, and could have maybe be fleshed out more. Without spoiling the story, that could maybe have been intentional in regards with the theme - the ending is probably the most polarising thing in this game. I really liked it though. I highly enjoyed the artwork and the music as well, especially the Swedish/Nordic setting (I live in the North as well so it's awesome to see a realistic Scandinavian setting portrayed beautifully in a game). This is one of those cozy point and click games I can see myself revisiting once in a while because of the overall atmosphere.
The Samaritan Paradox (2014, разработчик — Faravid Interactive, издатель — Screen 7) — point‑and‑click‑квест в жанре детектив‑драма.
