Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.43/day in the week to Aug 24 → 10.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your task is to construct a two-way rift back to Earth. It is a very complex invention and requires enormous amounts of energy. Simple solar collectors and a few tons of steel will not be enough. You will need to build up a complex chain of mines, refineries, powerplants and research facilities to complete this mission.
Your presence on this planet will not go unnoticed. As you build up your industry and disrupt the natural order, the world will start seeing you as a threat. Build up your defenses. Construct walls, barriers and defense towers as the attacks get stronger with every passing day. You will face thousands of hostile creatures trying to eliminate your presence.
Galatea 37 is an unknown planet in the Sycorax belt of the Milky Way galaxy. Long distance surveys detected that it is inhabitable and perfect for colonization. The planet is full of rare minerals and substances that can be found in various locations around the globe. Varied biomes can surprise you with unknown fauna and flora as well as harsh weather conditions. Construct local outposts in resource-rich locations that will transport the required resources using rift technology.
You play the role of captain Ashley S. Nowak - you are the Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful Mecha-Suit. Enter a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a distant planet at the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy, with the purpose of building up a base that will allow travel back to Earth and further colonization. Ashley's Mecha-suit, which she calls "Mr. Riggs", can withstand the harshest environmental conditions and has a full range of equipment for base construction, resource extraction, gathering specimens and of course - combat. It is capable of traveling through rifts that connect space across vast distances.
Take on an epic journey across all the different biomes of Galatea 37. You will establish multiple persistent bases across the globe that will fuel your economy. Research alien substances and lifeforms, as well as fight hordes of alien creatures, clearly not happy with your interference in the natural order of the planet. The campaign spans multiple hours and offers a remarkable degree of freedom in a super detailed, procedurally generated world. You can decide on the order of your priorities and what technologies you want to use. You’re the only human there, after all.
Your mission is to survive a set amount of time, fighting off increasingly difficult waves of enemy creatures. Each mission in the game is randomized, offering nearly endless replayability.
The Riftbreaker can be played solo or together in a group of up to 4 friends in Online Co-Op. Every game mode and each mission was specifically balanced to be enjoyed in single or multiplayer mode. The game includes a built-in server browser and a dedicated server mode. It can be played online or through a local LAN connection, entirely offline.
If intense fight for survival is not your thing either, then try out the Sandbox mode, where we give you control over the entire game – including resources, enemy spawns, and weather conditions.
The Riftbreaker’s gameplay can be customized to fit your playstyle. You can change the frequency of enemy attacks as well as their strength and numbers, resource abundance, weather events, enemy damage, and tons of other settings. There are also multiple difficulty presets to suit the needs of both hardcore strategy players as well as those that want a laid-back base-building experience.
The Riftbreaker’s development is continuously fueled by its welcoming community. The game has received years of support after its original release and is continuously expanded thanks to community suggestions and direct contributions. The game has a very open content structure and comes with a built-in set of modding tools, dedicated Steam Workshop integration, and a Mod Manager.

A game made with love
This is a very good game to play alone or with a friend. It has base building mechanics with energy and resource management at its core, rounded by heavy tower defense elements. Fighting with your mech and exploration of different plant biomes comes as activities in between waves of enemies, taking over a map, securing more resources, researching new and better buildings, building outposts. The base management system is not super complex, but enough to require some planning and thinking, as a lot of it can span over several maps. The tower defense aspects gets points for having an outstanding number of towers to choose from, many of which feel very satisfying when they unleash upon hordes of enemies. Exploration is rewarding at first, then turns a bit repetetive, you find many of the samey things, so soon you have seen it all, and really just do it on the side unless you just use it as an excuse to fight. Speaking of fighting, there is a staggering amount of weaponry and utility upgrades for your mech. Dozens of them, from basic weapons like a shotgun to laser rays, gas weapons, freaking mini nuke launchers, flame throwers, bug zappers, many of them feel hella satisfying to use on the mostly bug themed enemies. Enemy variety is sufficiently high, a lot of them repeat with minor changes across other biomes, but there are unique ones too, enemy waves can be absurdly big on brutal difficulty. Biomes look great, plenty of flora and fauna, starting in a jungle biome, but there are acid ones, sand ones, lava, ice, underground, and more. All have their own challenges and benefits if you wish to build a big base or an outpost, different plants can be cultivated, different rare resources found. Game modes. There is a solo campaign giving you a bit of a story, missions, a meta goal of researching and building megastructures. Its good to learn the game, though a bit limiting. You have survival, which is a mode you have to survive in for a while, things happening in real time, hella stressful. I played a less stressful mode in multiplayer called coop campaign, which I recommend. Graphics and performance. The game looks great, vibrant, detailed, creative, things fit well together, explosions and weapon effects are satisfying, sound is too, when you launch a loaded up mini nuke or watch 10 lighting rod tower projectiles sink into the ground next to each other to unleash lightning damage upon any and all enemies nearby, then you cannot help but get amped up. Performance is surprisingly great, even my old potato of a pc could handle it very well, revealing it to be a very well optimised game in terms of performance. It DID have considerable performance issues in the lategame, when the entire map was covered in buildings, when literal thousands of enemies swarmed, but that was the same for my friend who has a vastly superior rig, there are simply limits to what hardware can do. I recommend this game to anyone, it is very fun and satisfying to play, which is why I went out of my way to get every single achievement.

its good, clean fun
Played through the game Co-Op and honestly had a great time. The game is a mix of base building, tower defense, and LoL combat. That is fun, competently made, and visually pleasing. I feel the trailers give a good example of this so I don't think its necessary to dive deep into it. Suffice it to say explore an area, kill enemies, set up shop, construct MASSIVE Bases, defend against MASSIVE HORDES, get better gear to kill more enemies -> Repeat. I only have a couple points of constructive criticism: 1. I think some of the weapons could use some rebalancing as both my buddy and I kept frequenting the same weapon types over and over again as they were just straight up better. This sadly funnels the majority of weapons into being pointless. 2. I think some more guidance on building the hydraulics and basically any piping system would have been appreciated, possibly this is a me thing but it didn't seem intuitive. 3. The story and DLC could have had some more meat to it, it would have been interesting to know more about the universe and history. These are however minor complaints. I Recommend at full price and especially at discount. It was great fun while playing and looking forward to new releases from the company.
