Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Performs like crap
Gra jest fajna nie zadługa niecałe 11h polecam ograć powinno się spodobać.
Overheats my system and shuts down after an hour. Crashes too much.
The Precinct is an enjoyable story-based, top-down action sandbox, which doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. Small in scope, but large in heart with unlockable weapons, clothing, and skills. Whilst you can certainly tell this is an indie game, I think that is a positive because a large-scale developer may have made the game longer than it needs to be, as well as ruin the experience with unnecessary features. The story may not be anything to write home about, but it keeps the game moving along and is at least a little interesting. Once that is finished, the game opens up and allows you to patrol freely, gather collectibles, complete undercover street races and vehicle jumps The pace of the game can escalate really quickly as some of the chases get out of control and turn into absolute chaos. It adds to the charm and keeps you on your toes. Whilst overall the game is solid, the 80s-inspired music might be the highlight. It blends in very well with the narrative. Initially I was not a fan of the shooting mechanics - and I still think it could be better - but I have come to terms with how it works and now I'm five with it. It's a little frustrating when, after someone has been detained, you want to add a charge but the game doesn't recognise the crime that was committed which you then lose a little XP for. It's not a big deal, but something to note as you won't always get the perfect arrest you anticipated. Having played The Precinct on release - then placing it into my backlog - I'm glad I've come back to play some more and hopefully complete it, because I think it's worth your time and doesn't overstay its welcome.
I played the demo back when it first released, and the full version absolutely delivers on what made that early slice so promising. We really don’t get enough cop‑themed games these days, and The Precinct fills that gap with a stylish noir setting that’s genuinely fun to explore. The lighting effects in particular give the whole city a fantastic atmosphere. There are plenty of ways to spend your shift as Officer Cordell: regular patrol duty, writing tickets for illegal parking, towing cars, supporting colleagues from the helicopter, and much more. The variety of tasks makes the day‑to‑day police work surprisingly engaging. That said, a few things definitely need improvement. The driving feels quite floaty, sometimes like steering a piece of butter in a hot pan. The voice‑over is generally very monotone and could use more variation. The story is also more on the “meh” side, and I would’ve loved to see character illustrations with different poses or emotional expressions instead of just a single static portrait. Overall, though, it’s a stylish and enjoyable cop sandbox with a great atmosphere! I really hope the game continues to receive updates, so we can enjoy it much more.
