The game feels like taking a bite out of a beautiful looking burger, only to realize it's made out of polystyrene foam. And it sucks because the devs built a great looking game with decent core mechanics. I really enjoy driving around the city. It's everything I was dreaming a GTA 3 could be back in the day. But it is let down by a lackluster gameplay loop and story. It gets repetitive FAST. There is variety: you can respond to different situations, ranging from vandalism to store robberies and vehicle theft, you can fly a helicopter, drive a tow truck and handle parking violations... There's a lot. But since it's poorly fleshed out, it feels artificial, like padding. And this goes for the gameplay loop as well. You'll very quickly do everything the game has to offer. And it becomes boring fast due to its lack of depth. Story-wise, it's basic, which is okay. I get that the writing is trying to hit that "80s simplicity nostlagia". But the insipid voice acting fails to help it. There's many times where I was wondering if the game was designed by AI. The Precinct could've been so much more. but there seems to have been a far greater focus on visuals than game design. Instead, it feels like a sort of proof of concept. However, it's a GOOD proof of concept, and a 2.0 could really make for an amazing experience.

If I had to describe it in one word, I’d say “boring.” It’s a game with a nice concept and setting that has a lot of potential. However, the dialogue and story are far from satisfying. In addition to that the fact that the gameplay is also far too outdated and monotonous, and I gave up after 58 minutes. I might consider giving it another try in the future. But I’m not exactly regretful about the $11 I paid. It may be worth buying for $3–$4 just to try it out with a bigger discount. I can’t really say much about the gameplay. Maybe this was the best they could do given the resources they had. But if the writing team had taken the time to watch and analyse the 1997 film L.A. Confidential before writing these dialogues, we might have experienced something much more entertaining on this theme.

Jestem bardzo zaskoczony jak rozbudowana jest to gra, biorąc pod uwagę jej rozmiar :D. Ale to jest jak najbardziej na +. Plusów jest tu naprawdę wiele. A jednym z nich jest muzyka oraz klimat gry. This game is worth every penny. The dev's have added a lot of free content since launch. Please purchase to support dev's like this. A lot of fun and an absolute gorgeous looking game that runs very well on all hardware. Great Job!!!!! I wish more games ran this well upon launch
Жидковатенькая игра про нуарных американьських полисюських. Я - маленький копчик, отец которого был убит в бандитских разборках. Нужно МСТИТЬ! И при этом будете заниматься выпиской штрафов за превышение скорости и неправильную парковку. Такого не покажут в фильмах... Да и фильмы уже заколебали, если честно. Короче, жижагон. Но вот ради чего можно поиграть, так это ради гонок. Тут мне понравилось. Хоть они и простые, но дают чалленге!
