Yes buy this one ! Although it's a 50/50. The game itself: the idea of the topdown view, the style of graphics, the story are done with love and are fun to experience. The game run well, also on older systems. There are just no other alternatives on this level. (except for the GTAV mods) And this is why i would still recomment to buy this game. I would want people who like this style to not doubt and just play this. Cons: There is some stuff about the gameplay i did not like. It feels okay, and very do-able/manageable. But there are some moments of frustration. * It's the little things like: After 15 hours of play, i apparently still press the wrong icon on the cars, with the result that i smash a lot of car windows, while i was actually ticking the "vehicle tow" icon, and we can see that i pressed the correct icon, the procedure for some reason resets it self, and continues with the other icon, the vehicle tow icon (which is probably just too close next to it). * AI pathfinding: The AI cars on the road are way more unpredictable then in real life. Making driving fast problematic in certain situations. * Missions: There is not a lot of "relax" time when you are on patrol. On every corner there is a crime going on it seems. Made it really easy to score XP when in the Helicopter, where after 5 seconds your next criminal would create a new task. * Keyboard/mouse & Gamepad: I had to choose between the two options and went for Keyboard/mouse. When i have the gamepad connected aswell, the weapon aiming gets stuck. This should be enough for a review. I would say the experience is worth the money, BUY IT !

Un GTA clásico, pero desde el otro lado de la placa 🚔 The Precinct fue una tremenda sorpresa. La idea de tomar esa fórmula clásica de mundo abierto con vista isométrica y convertirla en un juego policial funciona muchísimo mejor de lo que esperaba. Patrullar Averno City, responder llamados, perseguir delincuentes, pedir refuerzos, instalar bloqueos y terminar metido en persecuciones que escalan rápidamente hace que incluso una patrulla aparentemente rutinaria pueda terminar siendo muy entretenida. Pero para mí lo mejor es la ambientación. La ciudad, la lluvia, las luces de neón, los autos, la música y toda esa estética policial de los años 80 están increíblemente bien logradas. Tiene personalidad propia y es de esos juegos donde simplemente conducir por la ciudad ya se siente bien. También me gustó que no intenta ser un simulador policial extremadamente rígido. Tiene procedimientos y mecánicas policiales suficientes para darle profundidad, pero nunca se olvida de que ante todo tiene que ser divertido. Las persecuciones son probablemente uno de sus puntos más fuertes. Poder pedir patrullas, bloqueos, bandas de clavos o apoyo mientras intentas detener a alguien hace que realmente sientas que formas parte de un departamento de policía y no que eres simplemente un personaje haciendo todo solo. Y entre patrullas está la historia de Nick Cordell Jr. y la investigación sobre la muerte de su padre, que le da un buen hilo conductor a todo el juego. The Precinct tiene exactamente lo que busco en un sandbox: libertad, situaciones inesperadas y una jugabilidad que hace entretenido simplemente salir a patrullar sin necesidad de tener un objetivo enorme. Puede que no tenga el presupuesto de un AAA, pero tiene algo mucho más importante: identidad y una idea muy clara de lo que quiere ser. Totalmente recomendado. 🚔🌃

The visual style and feel of the world is very well put together. The gritty feel of the city is really immersive and the damage models of the vehicles is really impressive. I really enjoy the mechanics of the game when it comes to the police work. It hasn't been overcomplicated like some games but it's also still detailed enough to not be dull. Successfully sticking the correct charges to a suspect is really satisfying! There is a good range of available vehicles to use all of which handle notably differently. The story is captivating and the characters are lovable and interesting. There only criticism I would really have about the game is that the story is perhaps a little short. I had hoped for an epilogue style continuation of the story that followed after the main events but there was no such things which left everything feeling a little more empty. I think it would be cool to have Nick eventually become a detective and deal with a different style of cases such as murder scenes or perhaps larger criminal gangs or something similar.

It's a good game 7.5/10 but the preformace on my handheld not good, while games like god of war / witcher / red dead 2 preforme much better on my device.
