Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

MD,这已经不是一般的市民了,必须出重拳!
This review could always be updated in future, but based on first impressions: The Precinct is a repetitive, sometimes broken mess. Why did I start a positive review like that? Because two past games/projects, drew me to this one. LSPDFR from GTAV, and Police Sim: Patrol Officers, and in terms of similar products, this is really the best the market has to offer of this genre in my opinion. It's as good as it is broken, which is very, however I've never come across anything that's downright buggy like many modern AAA games, so for a smaller studio that already impressed me. This is a charmingly unpolished noiresque police sim, with a half decent story, a unique camera angle, and genuinely fun chases, shootouts, and other moments. The only singular thing that puts this game behind something like LSPDFR is the fact that that, by nature has the shootout system of GTAV, which of course is well known by pretty much everyone to be fun. This has been the first time I bought a game totally blind without looking up anything first, and been genuinely blown away. I saw the premise, saw the mechanics and chases from this page, read a few reviews on here and decided it was worth the risk to buy outright on the spot. I hope more do the same! This is truly a hidden gem unlike so many games that claim to be. Maybe this game just flew under my radar, but it is literally almost everything I would want from a game of this genre. Along with all that, it looks like to this day the game is being updated regularly. Buy it.

Just another dull game!
I originally gave this game a positive review, but in retrospect, the game is extremely mediocre, not good, not bad, just very boring. From the daily grind in game, to the driving, to the shooting, to the characters and their dialogue, none of it is bad per say but absolutely dry in so many ways.
▬▬▬.◙.▬▬▬ ═▂▄▄▓▄▄▂ ◢◤ █▀▀████▄▄▄▄◢◤ █▄ █ █▄ ███▀▀▀▀▀▀▀╬ ◥█████◤ ══╩══╩══ ╬═╬ MAFIA DO RETROGAME ╬═╬ @mafiadoretrogame ╬═╬ ╬═╬ ╬═╬ ╬═╬ ╬═╬ ╬═╬☻/ ╬═╬/▌ ╬═╬/ \ INSCREVA-SE ╚═════════════╝ https://www.youtube.com/@mafiadoretrogame
How the ♥♥♥♥ arcade street racing in this game is more fun in terms of difficulty balance, tracks, and car physics than any dedicated racing game I played in years? Overall this game is a mix of sandbox high action GTA-like fun and a routine of law enforcement simulation. I really love this balance. At 15 hours in you really start to ask yourself 'Do I really need to go and harass this guy for bombing this wall? Do I really want to go through all the motions just to give them a fine? Am I a bad guy if I do or if I don't?' So it really makes you feel like (batman) a cop.
I've been waiting for a game like this for a long time. There is no other game that comes close to what this game is, and it seems like some people are confused as to what this game is. First off, this game is NOT a simulator, but it does a fantastic job of being one nonetheless. It's not 100% realistic, but it isn't trying to be. The pursuits and shootouts aren't realistic, but they are FUN. It's like an over the top action movie at times, and while I usually prefer realism, I absolutely love it. It's what I imagine being a cop in GTA would be like. What this game is, is a sandbox police patrol experience in a gritty 1980's city. You aren't a detective, you aren't looking for clues or solving crimes, you're out working a beat, and responding to crimes as they happen. No other game or mod comes close to doing this as well as The Precinct does. Like many others, I'm not a fan of the top-down perspective, but I quickly got over it because this game is just too good. I have another 50 hours in this game on Xbox, so add that to my total on Steam, and I'm well over 100 hours in at the time of writing this review. This game has a story, and it's serviceable, but that's not what draws me in. You start off as a rookie, and you have to do a few training shifts before you're allowed to choose your shift, but once you can do that, that's where this game really shines. You can choose from a variety of shift types, foot patrol, vehicle patrol, parking enforcement, and so on, and the city is split into patrol sectors, which you will unlock by solving crimes or writing parking tickets. Eventually the entire city will be available for most shift types, but I prefer staying in a smaller sector, even now. You can complete the main story at your own pace, or ignore it. The sandbox shifts are always available, but the story is definitely worth playing. Most of it occurs during your regular shifts. I absolutely adore this game, and the developer has been very active, pushing new updates and bug fixes regularly. Every single update has been free, despite many being comparable to full DLC add-ons that other developers would charge for. They are always adding new content, I'm sure they're working on something new for us right now. If you need to constantly unlock achievements and earn rewards to enjoy a game, this probably isn't for you. If you constantly need to be stimulated with something new, this probably isn't for you, either. If you want to put on the badge and patrol the streets of Averno City, keeping its residents safe from the criminals running loose, then you need this game. There is nothing else like it.
Puedo arrestar a negros y siempre llevan marihuana, juego del año
