A space survival open world terraforming crafting game, designed for 1 to 10 players. Alter the ecosystem of an inhospitable planet to render it habitable for humanity. Survive, gather resources, and build your base. Then, generate oxygen, warmth, and pressure to create a brand new biosphere.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

You have very small inventory, Each piece of resource takes its own slot. No stacking, no crafting from shared chest. Whoever thought that this is a great experience should stop developing games. Ever.
I had debated picking Planet Crafter up for a while before I did, and, frankly, I wish I had sooner. If you are expecting Satisfactory, you're going to be disappointed. It is closer to Subnautica in gameplay terms, but without the terror of getting mauled by something while you go off exploring for resources. There is a degree of grind to it, but there is almost zero pressure. No time restraints, minus the management of food, water, and oxygen. The progression started to slow down a little at one point, but that ended up being down to my mismanagement of things like rockets and multipliers, once I worked that then I was fine. I love exploring in games, and one of things I love the most in this is that, as the planet has evolved, new things have opened up in places I had already been, as ice caps melted and vegetation grew. The evolution of the environment is such that it will suddenly occur to you that the ground looks totally different than it did ten minutes ago. Its very pretty, and very well done. Crafting is crafting - its not complicated, minus my own inability to remember what I went to my storage room for by the time I get there. And the building is pretty decent, although some more customisation options wouldnt go a miss. Performance is excellent, I havent encountered a single bug or connection issue, and its running well on my pretty average PC. I am currently playing solo, but have jumped into a friends game to nosy at their base, and they into mine, and the connection was quick and no problems. All in all there isnt really much not to like. I am enjoying it enough that Ive just picked up the DLCs, and plan on completing everything. So, thumbs up!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Started feeling like an idle game real quick, waiting around for the number to go up and reach a new milestone so I unlock new tech that makes number go up faster (even though it really just got slower, since the milestones got exponentially larger each time. The lack of QoL was pretty surprising for how long this game has been out, no quick deposit to containers with similar items already in them, no crafting from materials in base storage. Maybe it's just one of those "mods fix it" games. Either way, it's just not for me, but clearly a lot of others like it and that's great. I'll go play something else instead.
Let me preface that I played the demo for this game wayyy back and was really into the sense of progression. I decided to wait for the right time to purchase the game + dlc because I was convinced I would love it. Unfortunately now at the point of wrapping up my playthrough I don't think I'll be bothering with the DLCs. While initially really addicting, the gameplay loop becomes an absolute chore towards the mid/late-game. I cant stress how stagnant it felt. Go get resources, build rockets, build new producer, repeat. The exploration also is really lackluster. The environments are pretty sparse in a small map often with large invisible walls and many MANY places without collision for you to fall through the map (something that is downright unacceptable in a full release game WITH DLC (absolutely insulting to ask for more money with the present lack of polish btw)). What should've been the saving grace to keep you invested in the resource grind, the lore ends up being generic sci-fi bog-standard nothing burger-core. I wont spoil it, go be disappointed yourself if you'd like. All in all just kinda a waste of time as it stands. Lots of potential, and could be fun with friends (I played solo cause I thought it was the intended experience when initially released). Subnautica without the magic 3.5/10
absolutely gorgeous game! im playing with a friend and were always telling the other to look at the sky, or the grass growing, the clouds showing up etc. i have fainted when not drinking water/eating/having enough oxygen more times than i care to admit but its not a stressful game (other than trying not to die on mars lol). highly recommend if u like cozy sims. i prob would have chosen all the easy modes and drops multipliers but my duo actually likes to challenge herself unlike me LOLL still 10/10 its a wonderful adventure<3
No long review here. You can see I've played for many hours (though some of those are leaving it running overnight). This company can ♥♥♥♥ off, and so can Steam for allowing them to release this buggy alpha of a game as "finished", and then immediately start pumping out paid DLC for this buggy, completely unfinished game. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scam. Don't get me started on how unoptimized this garbage is. I have a laptop with a 140W 4060 in it, 16GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS. But I had to LOWER the graphics quality from Ultra to Very High, just to get the game to run properly. And it's still using the entire 8GB VRAM of my GPU while heating it up to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 83C. It's a UNITY GAME. With garbage 25 year old graphics. Too many other games on my backlog to continue wasting time with this.
The sense of progression in this game is one that is hard to beat. Turning the barren wasteland into a thriving ecosystem is one of the most satisfying ways to indicate progress out of many other games I've played.
There's better survival crafting games to spend your money on. Only get it if it's on sale. Genuinely, I'm shocked this is a full release game.
Absolutely recommend this game, its beautiful, the music fits it well and it gets veery addicting. I love decorating my base and creating new animals. And you can now also sleep!!! But if you find gathering resources boring, it wont be for you as a lot of especially beginning gameplay is just that. Anyways, game is a 10/10, i will forever continue to glaze it, devs did an amazing job.
