About
The Outer Worlds 2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (just look at the exciting number of dashes in this sentence!). Time to clear your calendar – get ready for an action-packed adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a new colony! So much newness!
As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions—your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.
The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends. Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink!
Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!
Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.

Reviews
Wish I could play the game... But nope, crashes before shaders ever compile. Unfortunate and frustrating.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great game! If you enjoy Fallout 1, Fallout 2, or Fallout 4, you’ll probably love this one too. It took me around 80 hours to finish because I explored a lot and completed most of the side quests. Highly recommended for fans of Fallout, Skyrim, The Witcher, and similar RPGs!
Was a great game to break my game hangover. I appreciate the flexibility of choices in the game.
The companions aren't as good as the first game but I can destroy genderswapped Jeff Bezos so it kinda evens out.
yeah
this is genuinely a great game! the story is good and the side quests are great and abundant! there are so many unique weapons i haven't even found them all yet, but the ones I've found are all incredible! I absolutely love the moon man on the main menu the way he reacts to things you do, perks you take, armor you wear, weapons you use, etc. seriously this game is worth every penny!!!
Pretty good experience, after completing the game once. The graphics and characters are all enjoyable. I enjoyed the comedy in the game. Not sure where all the negative comes from about this game because it's not bad at all. The only things of note that would make the game feel better would be giving the NPC's a little more life. Why is my guy standing in one spot 24/7...don't they get tired?
Gra jest Solidna. Emocjonująca! Mam nadzieję na DLC do niej i kolejną część!
This has been in my backlog for a while now and I finally got around to playing it. And glad I did. This is a gorgeous and really fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously in it's tone but you can tell that a lot of love went into it's creation. If you are looking for a game that requires you to mash the right button within a 0.23 second window to get the dodge right - this ain't that. It didn't take long for me to come up with an effective strategy, and then I spend the rest of the time just playing around with the various weird weapons and the crazy things they did. The writing had me laughing on a regular basis. And I found exploration as there was just always a little bit of something interesting to be found around each of the places to visit. There seemed to be a design philosophy of streamlining away from anything laborious or tedious and let people get on with the weird weapons and great dialogue. Even down to not having a button to go up or down a ladder - I walk up to the ladder, and I go up the ladder. This may seem like a weird thing to be a fan of but it stuck out for me. I may even have run across that in other games, but I don't remember when. And when I noticed this minor quality of life detail, I started appreciating so many other little details in the game. And then there is the music. I suspect that the whole music team had to be laughing their asses off while having to create and sing the songs for various faction radios. With hopefully just a wee bit of guilt for some of it. ♫We've got your candy, That's tobacco! Taste this candy That's tobacco! If you started young (together) It's twice the fun The party members, while not up to the pre-EA Bioware standards, were still fully developed and fun to engage in. It was nice to hear the inter-party banter change as each of them went through their personal arcs. Two cavils. One - the crafting system felt like an afterthought. Not that I'm into games for the grind that crafting usually turns out to be, but there was a disconnect with that usually the only way to get a blueprint for a mod was to have to buy the mod in the first place. But there was such an array of different and unique weapons, and the mods were so specific for each weapon category, that you usually only ever needed to have that mod you initially bought. Two - The game is designed with a tight skill system to give you something fresh to find on several play throughs. As someone who plays for the plot and story mostly, replays are not something I tend to do, so I felt locked out of a bit of the side content. This isn't a flaw, just a difference in what they presented and in what I look for in a game. That being said, this is one of the few games worth paying full price for.
