About
The Outer Worlds 2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (just look at the exciting number of dashes in this sentence!). Time to clear your calendar – get ready for an action-packed adventure with a new crew, new weapons, and new enemies in a new colony! So much newness!
As a daring and most likely good-looking Earth Directorate agent, you must uncover the source of devastating rifts threatening to destroy all of humanity. Your investigation leads to Arcadia, home of skip drive technology, where the fate of the colony, and ultimately the entire galaxy, rests on your decisions—your strengths, your flaws, your crew, and the factions you choose to trust.
The Arcadia colony is engulfed in a factional war, as the Protectorate’s so-called benevolent rule is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and a corporate invasion. As destructive rifts spread across the colony, each faction fights to control or close them for their own ends. Navigate diverse zones, uncover hidden lore, and shape the fate of a system on the brink!
Build your character with the abilities and choices that reflect your playstyle. The colony reacts to your every move, crafting a narrative that’s yours to own—whether you’re a disciple of diplomacy, an astute strategist, a crusader for chaos, or something different altogether. And yes, you can dumb!
Recruit companions with unique traits, backgrounds and goals. Whether you choose to help them achieve their ambitions or steer them toward your own objectives, your influence shapes their growth (or death), making them an integral part of the immersive story you create together.

Good storytelling
На відміну від першої частини, тут грати не набридає до самого кінця. Продумана рольова система: всі прокачані скіли стають в нагоді. Гарно реалізоване переміщення, в т.ч. вертикальне, завдяки подвійному стрибку.
Very solid full blown game, worth every cent for me ^_^

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A game I didn't expect to like. Probably the closest thing to a modern day New Vegas. Shame it's priced at $80, so if you, dear viewer, would also like some New Vegas on an actual decent engine and have a good story (characters are 6.5/10), highly suggest trying this out. Gives me hope for the new Fallout they are making.
A solid, fun game. Runs very stably and I also enjoy that every character speaks as though they've all received Ivy League PHDs in English. Irreverently humorous as well.
Takes a while to get rolling but pretty good. Not as good as fallout 3/4/NV though.
yay
I was a big fan of The Outer Worlds and I find my love has not waned with this second installment. I am so far rather enjoying the changes in game play. To be fair, I play this game on the story setting because that is what I am interested in, so I can't really talk about the challenge this game poses. But I have been thrown into some pretty hairy situations because of the faults I accepted as I was playing through. I haven't met all the companions but so far the ones I have gathered all have helpful aspects and interesting dialogue. I often find the "This will be remembered" very ominous when it comes up after you have made a decision in a conversation with a companion. I hope these actually do make differences in the story down the line. My bottom line is: if you are a fan of the first game, you will likely be a fan of this game. The quirky style that I loved from The Outer Worlds is still there. Sometimes it makes me jump out of my skin and sometimes it makes me laugh out loud. I am looking forward to wear this journey takes me.
