7/10 Great horror game. Fantastic atmosphere, great jump scares, and a short story that works perfectly for the experience. That said, I’m taking a few points off: -1: Adding new achievements after I had already completed all of them wasn’t great (though I do appreciate the extra ending). -1: Menu navigation is inconsistent. Sometimes right-click goes back, sometimes you need the X, sometimes Back. Half of the game fighting demons, the other half fighting the UI. -1: Some gameplay interactions are a bit clunky. Still, after embalming 100 bodies, I feel confident enough to start applying for jobs at real mortuaries.

Still haven’t fixed the dead zones on controller, you can give an update for the trailer of the movie but can’t give an update to make your game run better, should have refunded this while I had the cha ce
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) The Mortuary Assistant marque par son atmosphère oppressante et son originalité : une morgue sinistre, des néons blafards, des bruits étouffés, et surtout cette sensation d’être observé, manipulé, presque violé par une entité malveillante. L’histoire trouble du protagoniste, liée à ses traumatismes d’enfance, renforce le malaise et l’immersion psychologique. Le gameplay, centré sur l’embaumement des corps et des rituels occultes, est simple mais terrifiant. Les mécaniques de "désobéissance" et les jumpscares bien placés créent une tension constante, sans jamais tomber dans le gratuit. L’esthétique minimaliste et les choix visuels renforcent l’angoisse, donnant l’impression d’un cauchemar éveillé où chaque détail compte. Une durée de vie courte (~50 min pour un service) et une histoire qui, malgré son potentiel, aurait mérité plus de profondeur. Une expérience courte mais intense, idéale pour les amateurs d’horreur psychologique et d’ambiances malsaines.
