This is easily one of my FAVOURITE stories and games, if not the best. I like the Tangle Tower a lot but I did not expect the Mermaid's Tongue to be THIS GOOD!!!! I binged play it as much as I can (and was surprised it gave me 10+ hrs of gameplay wow). The story was very well written and the logics flows very smoothly to me in the end (this feels so satisfying as not all clues seemed apparent to me in the middle of the game). And I was very pleased to see some connections between the games of the franchise. The story was mysterious, eerie, tragic yet heart-warming, humorous and lively at the same time! It will definitely have a place in my heart for a long time. Also I can't stress how much I love the characters, the animations and the voice acting!!! I would say the whole team has outdone themselves - again! I can't wait to see the theme of the next story (personally I prefer this one compared to the Tangle Tower, but please surprising me). (It's my first time writing a review this long so I hope this shows how much I love this franchise and the team will be able to receive my love for their work!)

It's another amazing entry in a great series, the mystery kept me invested throughout. The best parts are the story, the character design, and [i]the music[/i]. The clues really fit together, it felt like any question I had or irregularity I noticed was eventually exposed and answered. It also tied into the previous games, especially Tangle Tower, in exciting and rewarding ways. Sometimes you figure something out way before you're allowed to ask a character about it properly, but that's a common occurrence in a lot of mystery games. The only times I got stuck were when I missed 1-2 clues in the background, and on the one puzzle that I felt wasn't explained/implemented well ([spoiler]the pinboard near Moon's tent[/spoiler]). The characters were a lot of fun to interact with, the ending was amazing, and the mystery was very well-constructed. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone, in my opinion it's well worth the full price!!

Ein ganz wundervolles Point-And-Click Game. Man sieht die konsequente Weiterentwicklung aus den Vorgängern. Die Rätsel haben mir gut gefallen. Voice-Acting und Soundtrack fand ich exzellent. Bin wirklich traurig, dass ich es durchgespielt habe und hoffe sehr, dass es mindestens einen Nachfolger geben wird!
