Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Jul 24 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

complete and total mess, top to bottom. one of those games where there was clearly no idea that ended up on the cutting room floor as they try to jam in as many random skill/stat systems as possible with no synergy between them. the messy game design is a perfect match for the mind-numbing translation, my favorite line being "You can feed animal food to make it grow0830ri ght1kuohao" no matter how much you want another kenshi, avoid this one at all costs at least for a few months, if not forever. edit: my friend showed me some extreme exploits like buying a house for 1000 gold which gives you ownership of the 14k worth of stuff inside, but even taking advantage of these oversights the game is totally unplayable
Was fun but flawed during EA. Now it is worse. The translation is still ass, the gameplay did not get any deeper and the performances are so bad that is makes the whole experience unbearable.

This game is janky, buggy, and poorly translated. When I originally bought this game, it was in early access, so I was more forgiving of its issues. However, it is now in version 1.4, and it feels just as janky and buggy as it did when I bought it in early access. So I cannot give it the same grace I did when I originally purchased it. I am also not happy with the latest updates, as one of the core reasons I enjoyed this game was the ability to start and build out my own world. However, with the latest updates, that ability has been locked behind in game progression, and I am now forced to start in the pre-made world from the "Great Wilderness" update. The idea of a pre-built world isn't terrible, but because of how janky this game is, the pre-built world takes forever to load every time I try to start or load the world, and it can take hours of in-game play to unlock the ability to create my own world, which is annoying as previously I could do that from the start and it was one of the main reasons I enjoyed this game.
I played 60hours in 7days. I was recommended this as a Kenshi-like game. I can say this is the Kenshi ''solo'' Chinese experience. I was relunctant to try a Wuxia game but was pleasently surprised. If you liked: -Wandering on the map and fighting anybody, starting from nothing -Sneaking into people's home and lockpicking their items -Crafting gear and upgrading it I would say this is a great game. BUT here are the bad part: This game should be labelled Early Acces. This is NOT a polished experience at all. At the time of writing, a few of the perks were not working at all, and were bugged. I must say that this was still a great 60hours and WILL come back when the game is more polished.
I can't recommend it right now, I played it again after a year of not doing so only to come back to constant bugs. Many of the mechanics are broken, the UI elements stop functioning occasionally among other things. This wouldn't be an issue if I was able to rollback to the previously update where the game was playable.
Ultimate guide to become god 1: spawn in 2: kill yourself 3: repeat steps 1&2 until your character starts with about 1500 vigor 4: actually start the game 5: farm iron and wood (this will be very useful later 6: craft a few dozen simple traps 7: befriend a max level npc and have them follow you 8: place your traps and have the npc walk through them 9: rob him and take his head 10: repeat until god

Probably one of the most fun games I've played that has, unfortunately, gone nowhere fast. I don't know if it's really been abandoned like people are saying, but most of the recent updates have been in a completely strange direction: all about NPCs being more able to manage businesses, when there are huge gaping holes in the main game that are totally untouched: like factions not actually being able to fight, for example. Or the new 'main map', which is just totally weird in a game where one of the coolest parts is constructing your own map and completing the challenges in each tile to acquire more. I'm extremely sad to have come back to play this a year and a half after my first time, only to discover it feels like the same game, but moderately worse. I genuinely would have been gleeful if they just added a few more late game enemies and maybe a couple more ways to scale your power, or even a few more nonsense skills that don't do much of anything, but even that much didn't come true.
