Bu oyun yıllar önce ilk yayınlandığı zaman da vasat veya oldukça ortalama bir oyundu. Bu remastered hâli de öyle. Peki bu oyunu neden oynamalı veya hiç almamalısınız... Neyse geyik bir tarafa... bu öykü ve yaşananlar canon olmasa da, bir yandan yüzük kardeşliği sürerken, bu ekip başka yerlerde farklı bir savaş verdiği için lore'a zarar vermiyor. Dolayısıyla bu konuyu dert etmeye gerek yok. Oyunun belli kısımlarında zaten kardeşlikten haberdar oluyor ve o taraftaki olayların bilgisini de alıyoruz. (Hani oyunun öykü akışında, rezaletler rezaleti Rİngs of Power dizisi gibi salakça şeyler yok.) yarım + =) Yalandan biraz RPG ögeleri de barındırdığı için biraz keyif verebiliyor. + Grafikler öyle böyle cart curt filan diye değerlendirmeyeceğim çünkü çıkış yaptığı yıl grafikleri gayet kabul gören bir düzeydeydi. Remastered bir oyun olduğu için o günkü grafik tarzını koruyor. Hatta yapı olarak biraz Dragon Age 2'ye benziyor ve grafikleri DA2'den daha iyi. + Zırh ve silahlar fena değil. *** ( - ) Hiç oynamayan ve satın almak konusunda kuşku duyanlar için: - Müzikler kötü. - Oynanış, önüne geleni kes ve gerisine karışma ayarında. - Ses efektleri ne iyi ne de kötü. Bence daha iyi olabilirdi. - Yalandan RPG ögeleri sunduğu için yapılabilecekler anlamında biraz kısır bir oyun diyebilirim. *** İşte böyle arkadaşlar... aslında bu zaman için tam bir 5,5/10'lik oyun diyebilirim. İlk çıktığı zaman ise 6/10'lık bir oyundu. Ya kötü bir oyun değil ama iyi de diyemem. Zamanında oynamıştım. Bu versiyonunu da görünce, fiyatının da uygun olduğunu düşünerek, alayım bir kez daha oynayıp keyfime bakayım diye düşündüm. Pişman değilim. Ayrıca orta dünya candır, gerisi alternatif aperatif tadında şeylerdir... anlık heyecanlardır. Silmarillion döver, kıps... Ah bir de the battle for middle-earth oyunları yenilense var ya... haksız mıyım, arkadaşlar?

What a broken mess! Constant restarts due to sprint locking, crit hit disappearing, bosses have infinite health when down to 0 health?? Will finish this game as its gold but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell!

Na ja, hier ist meine Kindheit. Ich danke Steam für dieses Spiel, Ich habe mich wieder wie ein Kind gefühlt. Ich LIEBE die Welt von Lord of The Rings, ehrlich gesagt, Ich bin verliebt. Das Spiel ist sehr einfach und alt, aber es gefällt mir sehr, wile ich mich an meine Kindheit erinnere. Als Kind habe ich mehrmals dieses Spiel gespielt und das war wirklich wunderbar. Hin und wieder werde ich das nochmals spielen, natürlich))

I like both the original game and this Legacy Edition because I am a sucker for Lord of the Rings (LotR) games. However, I do not recommend this game for the following reasons: 1. It is not a remaster or a remake. What the developer actually delivered is just a patch or a minor quality-of-life (QoL) update. This is not an expansion or a DLC because nothing changes in the story—there are no new quests and no new gear. Absolutely nothing was added aside from some basic QoL tweaks, the biggest of which is the ability to hot-swap your character in solo play. Despite this, they are charging full price. The developer essentially copied and pasted the game to resell it for more profit. For players who bought and played the original, this is straight-up criminal. 2. There is no inventory sort button. The inventory is an absolute mess. The only way to sort your items is by dropping them on the ground and picking them up again in the desired order. For a game released in 2026, this oversight is unforgivable. 3. The bugs remain unfixed. Bugs that existed in the original version are still here, and the developers even managed to add a few new ones. 4. Clunky movement and combat. Character movement and combat feel terrible. A lot of the time, my attacks hit thin air—attacks that absolutely should have connected under normal circumstances. Meanwhile, enemy attacks still hit me just fine. 5. Multiplayer is worse than the original. In the original version, you could control the character you built and geared up in your own world when joining other players. In this Legacy Edition, you can only control the host player's other characters. In other words, whatever achievements, gear, or items you find while joining another player's session will not transfer to your own game. It is a complete waste of time. With all that said, I paid for this stupid game and I am still playing it. I feel mad and frustrated, but I like it at the same time because, as I said, I am a sucker for LotR games. TL;DR: Do not waste your time and money on this game. Go play Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War instead. Those two are amazing games, and you can get them both at a way cheaper price on sale.

UNTIL ASPYR CAN FIX THE BUGS DONT BUY. I played the hell out of the o.g version on pc and this port or rerelease or legacy edition or whatever is just not it.....i have encountered more new bugs graphic glitches and a.i issues then the og.....how to mess up a perfect game tutorial right here...ettenmors is a glitch show please fix this game and ill change the review lol

The graphics look like are from the 1990s and the opening story is absurd. Minimizing the black riders to hooligans out to disturb the peace. I've never thought about wanting to play a game to 'stand in the way' of great evil. May come back and try the actual gameplay, but being a big tolkien geek, this intro just rubbed me the wrong way.

This game is buggy as all heck. I was hoping for a cool LOTR game that had a different focus and it does do a bit of that but all the bad far outweigh the good. 1) Camera control is garbage. If you lock on to something you zoom in on your character's back and can't see anything else. If you don't lock on, you swing for the fences at nothing. 2) Item transfer is garbage. AI characters apparently have an auto-equip feature, so if you pass them something they CAN use, they put it on right away. If they CAN'T use it, you have a real chance of the game deleting the item. The AI doesn't pick anything up so your limited space will fill up rapidly and you can only sell items from the character you currently control. 3) Combat is hard for the wrong reasons. Enemies have exaggerated hit boxes so they can miss you by feet and you'll take damage. There is no friendly fire for the enemies so arrows will pass right through the orc in front of you to heat seek your chest but your arrows or other ranged attacks randomly don't pass through your teammates. The AI love to move in front of you while you are trying to do a combo so that you end up swinging at air. And finally the enemies can dog pile you so you just melt all at once. The last point is only important because when you get revived by an ally, there is a stand up animation that you have no control over and has no I frames so you just die instantly again. I completely understand why after only playing for a few hours, I have some rare achievements when LOTR lovers should have devoured this game. It's actually surprising I'm not seeing more hate about it. Edit: The reason my play time is at 9.6 hours is I got called away to help with something and legit forgot I had the game running.
