Big Variety: With a heap of different game-changing cards, create synergies and manipulate the ways you reach the goal. Will you go for big scores or will you chase insane speeds?
Draft your build: Pick your cards, discover synergies, and put together a winning build. Watch the cards jump as they trigger from many different sources.
Unique Effects: Cards can give you a bunch of different effects: from increasing passive multipliers, to spawning ghost cars, to rolling the dice for a jackpot, to triggering other cards altogether.

Gate Madness: Place gates on the track to enable even more synergies and enhance the craziness that unfolds.
Optimise Placement: Each track comes with a number of gate placement slots. Figure out the best combo order of gates to get the most out of each gate.

Car go brrr, number go up! 10/10
It is a fun game, I have some issues with balancing and the ability to actually make a "build" at max difficulty. For example I have been trying to get an overdrive build on the rocket car. Why is there a boss mechanic that disables overdrive etc.? Freeze car is another mechanic that feels impossible to pull off on higher difficulty as well. I feel forced to make a very similar generic fuel+boost+score build UNTIL I have "completed the run" and go infinite. The main issue may be the cost of items at high difficulty. You can get insane gold generation later, but at high difficulty I feel like most mechanics that are fun such as item combos, engine parts, etc. are completely unaccessible until around the 2nd boss (literally the "winning" race). I'm really enjoying the game still, I just think with some balancing on difficulty scaling, gold costs early etc. it could be insanely addicting. Edit: also being able to banish gate types would be huge. As you get high level and unlock all the gates the shop is extremely bloated with a variety of expensive/niche gates

scratches the balatro and isaac itch
Had nearly a dozen hours on the demo alone. The main theme (music) is incredibly well made and relaxing, just like the gameplay.
Definitely a pretty unique game, where you upgrade your car to stay longer on the track
This some good stuff
