The Longest Journey

Honestly I wanted to like this game but the amount of bugs I have seen made me quit. The game can change fonts on your desktop and also can forbid you from saving sometimes. If you ever want to play it use a virtual mashine like scummVM. Also some of the puzzles are so confusing not in "they are hard way and interesting to figure out" but quite random, sometimes a bad order of adding things can nuke your whole save. If you want to have somehow pleasant experience USE VM, make a lot of saves, and look up tutorials if stuck because those puzzles aren't even puzzles sometimes, most of the time it's the game not working as it should be.

Über ScummVM gespielt. Deswegen wurde die Spielzeit verfälscht. Am Anfang konnte mich das Spiel noch komplett abholen aber sobald es nach Arcadia ging, hat mich das Spiel leider nicht mehr so fesseln können, wie zu Beginn. Auch weil die meisten Charaktere, die man am Anfang kennenlernt, nicht mehr wirklich auftauchen im Verlauf des Spiels. Ich hatte außerdem das Gefühl, dass gegen Ende die Qualität der Dialoge (sowohl Writing als auch Synchronsprecher) nachgelassen haben. Rätsel waren außerdem manchmal sehr random. Trotzdem ein gutes Spiel. Hat diesen typischen Y2K-Charme/Ästhetik. Ein Spiel mit viel Phantasie, solider bis guter Story und toller Inszenierung.
