Tl;dr: More of a neutral. Only recommend if it's on sale and you don't mind that it brings nothing new to zombie VR games. Pros: + Shooting was decent enough + You can upgrade the weapons but be aware that removing the upgrades doesn't seem to refund filament + Voice acting was serviceable + Mostly worked with PSVR2 Cons: - Had a couple of freezes - Sometimes randomly lost weapon/flashlight - Menu button doesn't work on PSVR2, you have to press the watch face in game - Doesn't bring anything new to the table -
The whole game is about finding your family and you never see them. You also never see the woman you talk to on the radio.
Closing Thoughts: You've done all this before; there's nothing new here. It was an ok game but definitely wait for a sale. The end was very underwhelming similar to Proagation: Paradise Hotel.
Little Janky but fun B Zombie Campaign. No Bugs or crashes.
Me ha gustado bastante. Si te gustan los juegos de zombis sin complicaciones , este lo vas a disfrutar.
Played this game when it first left early access back in 2025. It was a fun game then with just a few bugs and weirdness but it has since received several updates and I cannot wait to jump back in for another playthrough. It has some pretty neat environments and the story is entertaining. It's a pretty great indie zombie shooter. I found out about it while browsing the bHaptics compatibility library. It's natively compatible so highly recommend playing it with a haptics vest if you have one.
I would not recommend this game. The trailer looks great, the game looks decent until you actually play it. This game has a lot of potential, but it ultimately feels like a lazily done mash-up of trying to be Saint & Sinners, HL:Alyx, and a little Boneworks/lab too. First complain is constant stuttering despite having a PC that can run VR Games at great quality, even on low settings the game constantly has graphical stutters every 10-15 seconds. The gunplay is okay, the weapons a little harder to aim than most, all the assets in the game are pre-made, which im not against I just know some people dont like. Knifing zombies isnt satisfying at all, you'll either hit them and it wont stab and just deflect off them like putty and get hit, or it will just switch to the knife being in their head and a really slow stiff animation of them dying, its like getting put into a knife cutscene with no cutscene. The hitboxes are sorta ridiculous, they get really close and immediately attack without much time to manuever, and if you do move back its a 50/50 whether it counts as a dodge or they hit you from a few feet away some how. For some reason there is a weapon upgrade system that feels really unecessary for this kind of game, and the upgrades are sorta meh. For example, theres a section where you need to remove wooden planks, can you remove them by hand or by hitting them with your knife? No why would you like any other game? You need to get a knife attatchment, does the attatchment let you break the boards? No, its a little mini grappler that pulls them off with a chord slowly, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, also was commented on by the people watching me play. The story starts off sorta strong, good dialogue, really good VA's, but the direction and dialogue fall short really fast into MCU territory of writing, it was charmingly cheesy at first turning to cringe pretty quickly, lots of "erm, did that just happen? Guess we're doing this now" kind of dialogue. The puzzles make little to no sense, as an example theres an area with a crane, there are boxes with crane attatchments on them, do you move them to pick them up by the crane? No, you walk around til your character goes "hm" and you have to keep your eyes out for loose bricks in a wall that you're meant to climb, and you have to time the crane to be able to grab onto it while it bridges a gap, I spent 5 extra minutes running around looking for the solution when it was a pillar around a corner with no visual indication that you could climb it. This game had a lot of potential and I was pretty excited to play it only to be let down about 20 mins in, if this had a major cleanup it would be really good, but instead its something you wouldn't really give someone looking to play a good VR game. I hope with updates in the future it becomes the product its meant to be.
Better than a lot of the AI slop out there. I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend it for anyone looking to get more out of their VR headset experience.
