If this was early release I would have probably been ok with it. But it's really rough, I wouldn't really compare it to Arizona or anything else. Needs more time in the oven. Has a cool idea with upgrades. My specs: i9 9900k 32GB RAM 1TB M2 5080 GPU Quest 3 (wifi)
This is very rough looking for a full release game. The graphics are incredibly flat and uneventful. Why are there so many damn doors and drawers with handles if I can't interact with them at all? After a couple rooms I realized if I saw handles it didn't mean I could interact with them. Not to mention spots where if I was actually there I would be able to crawl through them no problem. The devs don't seem to realize the point of VR is to simulate reality. If you put a hole in the bottom of a fence I better be able to get on my stomach and crawl through. Or if a few loose planks are hindering my path from walking straight through but there's a huge gap that anyone could crouch under I better be able to locomote myself through! Not have to go put a stupid upgrade on a knife to be able to pull the boards off. Many glaring issues on the immersion front. Also, for some reason my left hand kept getting stuck places for a couple seconds. Aiming does not seem to be great. I've played a large range of shooter VR games and I am able to hit things far away fine. I was struggling to hit things in my face with the barrel clearly pointed at the face. They clearly wanted to be Arizona Sunshine but fell so far from the mark. One of the first "hordes" you encounter felt straight out of Arizona Sunshine but with the boring flat gray textures around and subpar aiming it left a sour taste. It shows it was made by only two people. With the simplistic level design and poor sound design. (would sound like a zombie was right behind me when they were down a hall out a door in an outside area) simple looking graphics I would not get this unless it was on a sale. Which I did, but I doubt I will complete this game. I'd rather play something with good gunplay and is interesting to look at. I look for immersion in my VR games and this did not come close.

Solid game!!!! everything looks amazing. A 2 person team made this. This is better than 85% of all story vr games. Buy it. you will not be disappointed.
Does good job of telling story, and exploring world. Definitely a few moments that feel like experiencing scenes out of a zombie movie. I would rate it similar to Arizona Sunshine or SURV1V3 zombie games.
A pretty fun zombie game that can hold up to the other games in the genre. While it may seem a bit dull at first, it does open up later on and introduces several mechanics like climbing, puzzles and water areas. It's nothing what you haven't seen before, but it does them in a very atmospheric way. The puzzles are also nicely done with you having to interact with buttons and levers or having to do an Assassin's Creed style climbing section. As for the weapons, you have the usual stuff like a pistol, an Uzi, two shotguns and two assault rifles. It's nothing that you haven't seen before, but it's sufficient and the ability to upgrade your weapons does open up your playstyle a bit. That said, it is not as run and gun as Arizona Sunshine. While the store pag does show the character dual wielding, I never saw it as a feasable mechanic during combat. Especially given that there is no automatic reload option and the game really didn't like me trying to grab ammo with the off hand. And it also has this habit of throwing groups of runners at you during horde sections, so it feels more managble than Arizona Sunshine. Still, those moments can be tense and I found me juggling my weapons a few times and dropping them as well, because there was no time and no space to reload them. I also liked it a lot that the game wasn't post apocalyptic. While the areas you are in are mostly deserted, everything still looks clean and like they had been abandoned just recently. And aside from runners, I'm happy to see that there were no special zombies and that the game mostly stuck to Romero type undeads. One thing I have to criticize though is that grabbing specific objects can be very finnicky. Especially when items are clustered together the game often likes to think that you want to pick up the spray can instead of the ammo. But all in all its a good game and with 8 hours of playtime for me, also a properly sized one.
It's a bit like an Ali Express version of Arizona Sunshine. And quite buggy controls with the weapons and especially the climbing. Few times when there was a wave of zombies i died because of the very janky controls like you couldn't put the clip in to reload, or you inserted the clip and you wanted to load the gun but then it switched hands, or you lost the gun completely etc. That really gave me a soft one. Also the aim was way off. How many times i shot a zombie in the head from like 50cm away and it missed lol. With all that in mind i still had 4 hours of fun with it, but it's not something i will play ever again now i finished it.
