Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Early game was exceedingly a slog and boring. Typical anime tropes, however it does ramp up overtime with cinema ending. 7/10 overall. omw to cold steel 2
This game got me. I had some curiosity in this series as a JRPG fan, but i did not expect that i would fall for this game and its characters and world so quickly. To start this game is paced, i feel, on the slower side. Let me be clear though that the slow pace is not a flaw. I feel like i actually got to live in this world. The game is also well organized into chapters and the flow of the story is steady only at a relaxed pace. The locations class vii travel to had me learning more about the world without me even realizing. While some of this game is voiced, and well in my opinion, there is a LOT of reading here. Although some may see it as extra reading, taking your time to talk to everyone can really attach you to characters and locations, you may even stumble across the hidden quests. hunting down every achievement in this game took a few play throughs for me, though you could likely do it in fewer than i did. the speed up and dialog skip made running through the full story again very quick though. all in all i Really enjoyed my time with this game, this world, and class VII.

Amazing jRPG that's holds its ground against many of the greats. The story is interesting, and the same for the world building of Erebonia. The characters are great, unlike a lot of modern western rpgs, this one actually makes you "bond" with your teamates (little gameplay pun there) and care for their individual plots. The fighting is quite fun, and turbo mode (aka speed/fastfoward) is amazing as it helps with the more repetitive parts of the game. There is a lot of customization in building your team with the orbs and all, although equipment wise its very limited, usually giving one upgrade option you can buy per chapter so not much choice there. OST is quite mixed for me, some is great, some is meh, and a certain one (school evening) made me play on mute due to an annoying beep sound in it. One thing i would have liked to see more off is minigames, to help break the tension of the main story. Also, not fond of missable/hidden content, be it items and quests. As per usual with games and anime, the japanese voices are spot on whilst english is honestly horrible. But overall, this game is a great aquisition for rpg/jrpg enthusiasts.
You can compare this game to as many JRPG franchises as you'd like, but honestly just enjoy it for what it is- an under-appreciated but top-rated game series. This game was miles ahead of others in its time for quality of life improvements, and the story is absolute quality!
Yeah just play it. Such a great game
I started this series this year I completed 2 games so far this is becoming my fav JRPG overtime next to Xenoblade I can't not recommend this game to anyone, it's a long journey so prepare yourself the world is immersive every npc lives in this world, I started with daybreak which I loved so much but realize I must play the older games so I went back with negative expecations but these games are truly special, I encourage anyone to give this series a go.
Go to school, talk to cute girls.. what more could you ask for?!
