Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is quite a big step in Trails series for me. There are a lot of good things gameplay wise, while there's also some questionable directions. But of course in Trails series, story trumps above all. I think the biggest success of previous Trails games is that they succeed on world building. I keep thinking that early Trails games walk so future Trails games can run. This game in particular seems to be taking inspiration from Persona series as well, as I can see some fingerprints of Persona in this game. + Yet another exciting storyline, following Trails to Azure in the series. + Rich characters create rich world. I like that even NPCs always have their own mini-stories so you can feel the world alive, + Great music as always. + More fun quartz orbment implementation that let you go all out on building your characters. - Turbo mode feature is not toggle-able and felt like a step back from Azure. - Auto-unequipping your party gears whenever there's party change in the story is tedious. They should have asked if we want to keep the gear or not. - It seems they have mixed direction when making this game, as the protagonist is muted on a big chunk of scenarios, but fully voiced on the other half. That cliffhanger at the finale is so mean. It really makes you want to go to the next game. Luckily I am playing this on 2025 and I can go ASAP. It must have been torture for OG fans. Definitely would recommend this game if you enjoyed the previous Trails games.
ABSOLUTE CINEMA

Absolutely brilliant
peak game
A recommendation purely on the basis that it is required reading to enjoy the rest of this franchise. While not the worst game from a storytelling point of view, I genuinely hate Rean. Literally 0 character development before Reverie (5th game in this arc btw!!!!), and, while the Reverie character development is good, it is not worth the mid you have to sit through, and he is 100% the weakest MC in this franchise, if you take into account how much screen time they give him to grow and evolve. And no, I don’t believe that Rean not letting people help him, constantly get scolded for it for 5 games, only to miraculously let his friends kill god with him, makes him Goated Raw Fire Peak. This guy sucks man 6/10
