Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As usual, NF makes another great JRPG here. As the 6th game in the series and the 1st game in this new (Erebonia) arc, the series finally makes it's jump to full 3D graphics. Honestly, I kind of miss the timeless look and sprite art of the previous two arcs. That's not to say that this is bad, it just looks pretty dated at this point. Still, NF has a great art style that still looks nice (you don't play these games for the graphics anyways). The story of course is still top notch and they introduce a really great new cast of characters. You actually could start your Trails journey here if you wanted as well, but there a many many call outs to the previous games that would make your play through of this game that much better if you play through those games first. Voice acting is in both Japanese and English this time around as well, I played the English version and the voices all did a great job. The Music continues to be very good as well, although not as good as Trails from Azure IMO. The combat is more of what you already know from the previous five games and once again built up and added to in order to give this game some new tools to use. Gone is the stacking Quartz elements to create Orbal Arts (spells) though. Now each quartz has it's own innate stats or spells attached. I didn't like this at first, however towards the end when you get more and more powerful quartz I think this ended up being a good call. It makes this part of the game more streamlined while you still get to make builds. Early on in the game it's kind of restrictive but it really opens up later on. It also makes obtaining the more rare Quartz more impactful IMO. One weird issue on PC is that when you try and speed up the battles (like previous games) it will instead skip all of the animations. This is very lame. I did find a mod that will allow you to simply speed up the battles instead of skipping and I suggest you look that up and install the mod as well. Also, NH continues to support Ultrawide monitors! This series continues to be one of if not THE best JRPG series around. Moving on to Cold Steel 2!

the game that set many foundation going forward for better or worse, slower start up to 30-40 hours because of how big erebonia is, but the set up all payed off good as falcom usually do, OST still top notch especially atrocious raid and many other battle theme, quartz a bit linear to set up here compared to old entries & calvard game but do its job enough, there are some challenging encounter but not too bad one thing i hope falcom ditch is social link instead just integrate it to main story because what we get in daybreak where you can farm social link point and view what you miss is just rubber band solution, more and more important things keep pushed to social link its getting ridiculous
It took me a long time, with several prolonged breaks, to finish this game. I felt like the story and combat started off pretty darn slow and it took a long time before they started getting good. But thankfully it does just keep getting better and better right up to the end.
peak 10/10
This series is consider as a prologue, since the plot is very slow and it takes time to introduces all of its member (not only playable member, but all NPC too) and the locations (the largest I've ever seen). But what did I get after finishing the game? Emotional attachment to each character. Even small NPC like the twin Linda and Vivi play a good part on the plot on the subsequent chapter. Gameplay is okay. You have attack, magic, and character skills. Its too complicated in the beginning but it opens up how you want the character to be. Sometimes I make the protagonist become a support since the side characters have too many attacker. Overall, I gave this 4.5/5. Plus, the Opening is a banger.
