Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 2 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The prophesied end of the Zemurian continent draws near, and so does the launch of humanity's first foray into space. A sudden invitation from Marduk to cooperate in a high-tech training exercise sets Van Arkride, Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham on a collision course with the secrets that lay at the very core of Zemuria.
Their paths may diverge, but the ultimate question remains the same: Just what lies beyond the edge of the horizon?

Explore detailed locations across the Calvard Republic, strengthen your connections with your allies, and uncover what lies beyond the horizon of Zemuria across three intertwining story paths. Plus, Trails beyond the Horizon introduces new gameplay mechanics to the beloved battle system introduced in Trails through Daybreak, giving you an unprecedented amount of options in both Field and Command Battles. Battle it out in the action-packed Field Battle mode, then swap to the turn-based Command Battle mode to strategically plan out your attacks!

New features include:
Wield more power in battle than ever before with Shard Commands! Utilize S-Boosts to give your party a range of benefits during battle. Each character and holo core comes with their own unique Shard Commands, so be sure to take advantage of them!
Certain characters, such as Van with his ability to transform into the Grendel, can surge with extra strength using Awakening during Field Battles to temporarily increase their power.

Take control of time itself with Z.O.C. to slow the speed of enemies to a crawl, allowing characters to perform multiple attacks in quick succession. Not only that, but while Z.O.C. is activated, your attack power and stun damage will dramatically increase, making stunning enemies with high defense a breeze!
Plus, gather allies from all over Calvard and beyond and put a stop to Ouroboros' machinations in the Grim Garten, a dungeon that you can take on with your own custom party!
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Epic, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

I just finished it and I have no words for the ending cliffhanger aside that I really do not feel okay. This is a hard one. If you can manage to wait for Horizon 2 do yourself a favor and wait till its release to not have this cliffhanger linger on you. Aside that as always an amazing JRPG experience. Trails never fails to deliver. This is so far peak Trails. I really wish I could play the enxt entry right now. Also DO NOT START WITH THIS GAME. If you want to get into Trails I would just recommend picking up the first remake of Sky. See you on another Adventure. In another time.
Best game in the Calvard arc so far. Finally, some answers for metaplot. Gameplay-wise it's one of the best Trails games with tuned up skills activation probabilities, so they're actually usable. Plot-wise it's great, although it feels as if Trails in the Sky FC's plot pacing influence was an inspiration here - story becomes truly interesting from the evening of the 1st day, which is roughly 40hrs of gameplay. Before that it's all glorified tutorial, and characters do nothing important - just chilling and wandering around the town. However, the ending is what makes this installment great. And, what's more important, it doesn't end on the impossible-to-wait-for-next-game cliffhanger, even if it's obvious that there will be the next part of the story. Oh, and don't buy into game telling you that Grim Garten is optional - it contains crucial piece of metaplot, so make sure to clear it completely.

Not the best entry in the Trails series; the huge number of characters makes the narrative unnecessarily slow, plus you have to re-equip your new current party at the start of every chapter. The story is divided into three separate storylines, but it’s unclear why, as there’s no non-linearity or time travel. The ending is strange: our heroes worked together to overcome everything, but in the end, EVERYTHING they did, turned out to be pointless, and everything happened exactly as if they hadn’t done anything at all. On top of that, the game once again ends on a cliffhanger.
It's better than second, due to ending. I wish returning characters had more meaningfull stuff, they're used as a fanservice and nothing more sadly. And still not a big fan garden, lootboxes and repeating locations.
神ゲーム、次の物語を待っています‼
First 80% of the game: yeah it's alright, better than it's spiritual predecessor - Reverie. Next 10% of the game: ok now it's getting good. Some big repercussions here. Last 10% of the game: peak It's not without it's huge faults though: Edith? Again? Also:
Why are we all here, just to suffer?
Second-worst Trails game (after Daybreak 2). Combat is boring. Dungeons are tedious. Voice acting suddenly stops in the middle of scenes. It would probably be a good show.
опять клиффхэнгер но все же пик
Dies Irae made me ascend past the potential of humanity peak...
I jumped out of my chair and yelled "It's Kevin!" because Kevin's back! 10/10. Would change nothing.
