Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 21 → 1.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The Last Starship is a 2D space construction and simulation game, where you design and upgrade your own star ship. Use it to explore vibrant star systems, uncover unique resources, and discover hidden secrets. Your choices shape your experience — become a daring pirate hunter, a resourceful miner, a space engineer, a reliable spacebus driver, and more! Dive into colorful star systems in this ever-expanding sandbox environment, and enjoy regular free updates throughout the development process. Your journey through the cosmos is just beginning!

With your crew awaiting orders, it’s time to bring your starship to life. Build the vessel of your wildest imagination, or recreate legendary ships from iconic movies and fiction. Stop by the local space colony to gather equipment and supplies. Start with a reactor to power your engines, and then lay down crucial pipework and electrical systems. Keep life support steady, or your journey may be cut short.

Unleash the full potential of our community’s creativity through ship sharing on the Steam Workshop. If you can envision it, you can design it, share it, and let others engage in epic adventures and battles with your creation.

Take full command of your starship’s arsenal. Will you mount lasers for precision shots, or railguns for devastating impact? Do you favor heavier armor for resilience, or enhanced agility to outmaneuver foes? Opt for stealth to slip by unnoticed, or load up on raw firepower to dominate the battlefield. The Last Starship isn’t just about firepower; it’s a test of tactical thinking, where each encounter demands careful planning, adaptability, and precise strikes.

The sector map opens the gateway to a vibrant, procedurally generated universe brimming with missions, anomalies, and unexpected discoveries. Meet a diverse array of characters — some allies, some adversaries — each with their own compelling stories and requests for help. Embark on daring rescues, deliver vital cargo, or hunt down notorious pirates. Every decision you make shapes your path, carving your unique journey through an ever-changing galaxy full of wonder and peril.

Space is cold, dark, and vast. To survive, you must gather essential resources — water, oxygen, and fuel — to maintain your ships and sustain your crew. Whether you’re deploying drones for space wreck salvage, or using lasers to extract raw materials for a massive mining rig, establishing a seamless operation is crucial. Only then, can you secure the resources needed to thrive in the depths of space.

Fun while it lasted. Lacks content at this stage of development.
Super chill and relaxing game. Kudos to the devs for releasing updates pretty regularly. I like that most things are self maintaining. You can create fuel, minerals for crafting. I check the game out every so often.
This game starts off deceptively simple but ramps up in challenge at times rather quickly. There's a bit of a learning curve because of all the different elements (ship modification and equipment, the stargate project, combat, and so on), but the in-game tutorials do a very nice job of walking you through the basics of each new area as they come up in game, and you can easily skip them if you've seen them before. I suggest you save more than once when you reach certain milestones such as right before attacking the pirate bases in the new sector in Brave New World mode, so that if (when) you make a mistake, you don't have to start all over from the beginning. If you're anything like me, you're going to end up restarting a few times before you get the hang of everything, but the satisfaction of achieving each milestone makes up for the frustration you might feel getting there. One thing I noticed is that some of the Stargate construction phases seem like a bit of a slog because of all the manufacturing you need to do of each component. Do NOT give up, it can be done! Also, I suggest checking out The Last Starwiki at tls-wiki.com/wiki even though it's not complete, because it does have useful information on a lot of areas in the game.

it 's fun untill you have to dock with people, the docking controls are absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥, i have 15 directional thrusters on my ship and just spent 20 mins trying (still unable) to dock with a stagnant ship. everything else is great but since its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible to dock with just mouse clicks, ima stop playing this. 11 hrs to far in to return it.

The Survival Mode is a LOT of fun, gives the Battlestar Galactica Feel of making a fleet and managing it as disaster approaches. My advice to anyone looking at this game, play the "Story mode" to get a feel for it, then abandon it right away for the real game which is the survival mode!
great game but needs more main story missions and when i accept a quest in the second sector i expect it to be in the second sector not the first, also i made my fleet way to powerful and it makes the game laggy, no not becuase of my computer, i have the best specs on the market and barely use the cpu or gpu yet it gets laggy,so it must be the game but because of this i cant really progress futher, also the markets cant support my fleet and although i could do it my self, it would take a long time to do and im lazy aka when i buaght the fleet it took me a whole day at 4x speed to fuel and load my fleet, also with like 300 plus crew on a ship tell me why a order from the market takes forever and yet i look at the ship and all my crew is sitting in the corner not doing anything.
Better than Factorio. There, I said it. Haters gonna hate.
