One day, a gargantuan alien spaceship invades and unleashes countless combat weapons upon Earth, demolishing human civilization in the blink of an eye. Although humans succeeded in developing special weapons that could deal an effective blow to the aliens, it was too late to revive their civilization.
To this day, however, the Earth has yet to fall silent despite its abandoned cities, for swarm weapons known as "CogrinaUnits," 12-meter-tall autonomous humanoid units, collect and operate the limited number of special weapons that remain, and continue to fight against the aliens, all for the sake of accomplishing the mission humanity entrusted them with....

・Choose whether to take down the multi-legged robot weapons ravaging the city by leveraging the terrain, or to move in close and finish them off.
・The next unit is sent out immediately once you are defeated.
・Only a limited amount of equipment remains, so you'll need to recover items from defeated units to continue the battle.
・Find out what comes of the battle against the overwhelming enemy forces
・Light-hearted conversation scenes with fellow units during intermissions
・Plus a shiba inu!

Very solid game. It isn't particularly long, but it's fun and that's all that matters. And for its price, I'd say it's worth it. This game is a pretty darn good arcadey FPS game where you blast War of the Worlds-esque alien craft. The main campaign took me around 2 hours to beat, which unlocked an extra difficulty mode, but it's mainly retreading through the same missions. Graphically it reminds me a lot of Citadel (if you know, you know), but unlike Citadel, it's safe to play due to the characters being robots. You have access to 6 guns (technically 8) that feel punchy to shoot and each functions differently from each other. 3 of those guns can be missed, but don't worry, the game will let you know if you have missed them. You also get 18 subweapons and 18 augments you can slot in for more firepower or buffs. There's definitely replayability in it with the extra difficulty missions and unlocking all subweapons/augments, so there's more content than just 2 hours it took me to beat the campaign. Either way, very cool game and I recommend it.
The game has its problems: The "extra lives" system feels like an afterthought, the Normal Difficulty is kind of a joke and a lot of the unlockable Equipment items end up being redundant or forgetable upgrades that just pad out the progression till your reach the actually cool stuff (you wanna bring a Holo Decoy or a Holo Decoy CLUSTER that does the exact same thing?) But despite all that (and some jank on the side) this is a very easy recommend at the price it's at. The core premise rocks, the artstyle is funky, the gameplay is easy to figure out on the go and fun as hell to master, and the EX-Levels are by far the most fun I had in a while

美术风格很亮眼的doomlike游戏,游戏内容短小精悍 武器手感不错,尤其是狙击枪拉栓换弹真的爽 枪械平衡稍微有点问题,狙击枪和RPG是真的弱吧 没有限制级内容扣分(
Fun game. I'd like to see another game in this, hopefully, series. It has a vibe similar to EDF, though it would greatly benefit from slightly longer missions and the ability to have two weapons. But otherwise it's a really good time and hard to put down until you're done.
This is a great little action game, it is cheap and it is full of thrills, I definitely recommend playing on the harder difficulty as the main campaign keeps it relatively tame bar a couple of the missions. Once you beat the campaign and unlock the weapons, upgrades and EX missions this is where I think the game really shines. You get the freedom to deck out your character how you want and the game throws a tonne of enemies at you keeping you on your toes constantly. The shooting is satisfying and you get through some of these encounters by the skin of your teeth. The art style sticks to this red hue for everything and it gives the game a distinct personality, the sound trick kicks ass and ramps up at the right time in battle. The gameplay is really the focus here though and the game does that and absolutely nails it. I definitely recommend this it is great fun to play.

Very fun mission-based wave shooter. Pick from a little under 30 missions, choose your loadout and go shoot up hordes of alien robospiders. Your enemies have widely different attack patterns but most of them include fast projectiles fired in a wide angle, so you'll have to take cover to survive. That being said, the many skyscrapers you'll use as cover get destroyed after taking too much heat, so it's a good idea to switch positions whenever you see a window for it. This balance between dodging and sheltering made the combat very dynamic and fun in a way few FPS games do. There are a few unlockable weapons strewn around specific levels that are rather easy to miss, so don't feel bad if you need to look up where they are. They all behave very differently and bring some much needed variety to the game, as the samey combat scenarios and somewhat limited enemy roster make TLSS a rather repetitive experience, even when you take into account its short runtime. Finally, do play the game on hard mode if you're halfway decent at FPS games. The loadout system itself allows you to customize the difficulty of each individual mission, so you can always buy a bunch of lives / better gear if you're really struggling on any one specific mission.
Bloody amazing. Short, to the point. Punchy, doesn't wear out its welcome and gives you a bunch of fun weapons to play with. No other game lets you be multi story tall lady mecha shooting giant alien robots. Someone made a first person EDG and gave it 3x speed. It's awesome and a wild ride the whole way.
(That's RU review, EN lower)
(EN review)
SO WHAT EVEN IS "THE LAST SALVAGE SQUAD"?!!
Well... it's cool. REALLY cool. Fast, frantic, satisfying. The game isn't particularly frustrating either. It only gets on your nerves every now and then, usually when you're stuck on a specific encounter. Once you figure out what the game wants from you, you'll push through in no time. Mechanically it's very easy to understand, but since it's an arena shooter, it's definitely an "easy to learn, hard to master" kind of game. Coming up with a strategy is simple because you've got a ridiculous amount of gear to choose from. Throwables, active abilities, passive upgrades... the game gives you plenty of options. Whether you want to sprint across rooftops like a maniac or hide behind cover and play it more like Gears of War or F.E.A.R. is entirely up to you. Personally, I played it like a proper arena shooter: constantly rushing enemies, weaving between incoming fire, accidentally dodging into my own dodge path, and filling aliens with lead. There are also a few hidden mechanics. For example, the game never tells you that you can slide. Just hold the crouch button while moving. Another one is the katana's "ultimate." If you hold RMB while the blade is overheating, it'll suddenly cool down, and pressing LMB afterward unleashes a powerful follow-up attack. I only discovered that near the end of the game, and it honestly made me wonder how many other little mechanics I'd completely missed during my relatively short playthrough. Judging by the trailers and screenshots, it's pretty obvious this game has StYlE. Surprisingly, my eyes survived the experience, although maybe I've already burned them out on other games with even crazier visuals and faster gameplay. Either way, I think it looks fantastic. It's stylish, readable, and I genuinely like the art direction. :) The soundtrack is great and fits the game perfectly. Unfortunately, I don't have much else to say about it since it's not really my favorite music genre. As for the story... no idea. But the dog absolutely carried the entire mission to save Earth. One dog, thousands of enemies. Absolute MVP.
FINAL VERDICT!!!
I absolutely recommend it. If you're not sure whether it's your kind of game, just try the demo first. That's more than enough to see whether you'll enjoy it.
