Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

Reviews
I love how there's barely a tutorial in this game and you're just left to fend and learn how to work things out for yourself, there's so much playability within the game and masses to explore. Quests are fun too, levelling system and enhancements are a huge positive addition to the grind. If you like games like minecraft or simulation games, I'd give it a go for sure!
Creative and fun. Kept me entertained for several days.

Game is promising but fundamentally broken Interesting premise and atmospheric world, but falls apart with progression-breaking bugs and terrible quest design that make it impossible to enjoy without becoming a full-time researcher. Genuinely enjoyed exploring the world until the quests that rolled out with each update ruined that experience. Progression-Blocking Bugs - After completing a quest, apparently there is a drop pod that contains an item required for further progression. This can fail to spawn entirely and you don't even know it - Game doesn't warn you when rewards don't drop, leaving players unable to progress - Requires reloading saves, Q&A sessions on discussion forum or hoping capsules eventually spawn Hidden Quest Chains - No indication where missions are located - Points of interest are kilometres apart and you are stuck on the same painfully slow boat and there is constant grind of farming for fuel or sitting around doing nothing for 20 minutes to fill up oil Opaque Systems - Human creation system is poorly displayed, no indication that tracker is important to guarantee what you require. You have to go to discussion forums - You can potentially burn away items essential for progression because you don't know any better and not even realise you just soft locked your future self. No Onboarding - Too many progression steps require consulting Steam forums, guides due to bugs and total lack of explanation in the game - Player is expected to piece together quest flow from community fragments rather than in-game instruction In game vehicles are either entirely useless or punishing to use. Gyrocopter will be required to fly in tight space with a mistake causing total failure and if you don't save game before attempting (which you might not have any idea of the danger with this), then you are soft locked unless you find enough resources to build 300 steps. And you have to build steps because you can't build ladders for some reason? The combat is essentially pointless. You can tank damage from bugged out roller balls, just stand there and shoot until they explode, and the octopus corruption things are just annoying and extremely repetitive after a while because that is all you will ever encounter. Might have plenty of hours, but 90% of this is recycling items over and over, clearing out the same threatless enemy types that can only kill you if you want them to, and travelling back and forth minutes at a time between the same points of interest. After a while you feel like the devs are actively working to try and make you hate the game. And I haven't even mentioned the endless number of crashes that get you desperately needing to save every 5 minutes or you have to repeat a ton of grunt work over and over, or even the weather system that at times feels like endless storms reducing visibility to almost nothing or having to wait out exploration for sunlight to not have to deal with swarms of worms. This game is called The Last Caretaker, and it feels like you are just some unpaid janitor cleaning up junk and no thanks for the effort except so say you missed a spot so you have to do it all over again
Love the game, but hate the gyrocopter
Excellent game
Game is intrigueing but crashes sometimes.. given the current savegame management you really should setup the autosave to save all 5 minutes to avoid losing too much progress. My guess is that the crashing issues are caused by incompatibilites between WIN11 and UE5.
super jeux, j'adore !!!!
80 hours 6 days, i think that says itt all
This is a great game and I more than got my moneys worth. I like the build a mobile base concept. lots to explore locations feel unique for the most part. My only real complaints are that most of the gadgets and things you unlock are disappointing. for instance the drones that just immediately kill themselves or disappear, or the jet ski that even with the lowest tier engine turns into an uncontrollable kite when you give it any throttle and steering is a nightmare. Also hauling materials back and forth to build at sites is a pain, especially with the low storage capacities. it feels meaningful early on, but there needs to be a way to just dock your boat at places like the exodus site so you can use the resources from your boat to build. you cant hold that much even maxed out, so its turtle walking nonstop and always needing to go back for more, even if you use the gyro to help.
