The Incident at Galley House

Amazing game and a great mystery. I was able to find out what to do most of the time without the hints, but the hints did come in handy. Seance machine mechanics worked great and no bugs from what I found.

An excellent Metroidbrania that gives you just enough clues to have these wonderful moments of realization. The real shame is just like The Roottrees are Dead or Obra Dinn, I'll never get to experience them for the very first time again.

The mystery story at the center of Galley House is a blast, and some of the "ah-ha" moments I had throughout had me gasping out loud. This game is an easy recommend if you're a fan of the emerging Obra-Dinn/Roottrees genre. I played this game partially on computer, and partially on Steam deck. Playing with a keyboard is the superior experience if you want to use the in-game note-taking features. If you're playing on deck--whether docked or hand-held--you'll probably want to keep a physical notebook or otherwise keep the notes app on your phone open.

Great game! Was really interested to see if this game was similar to the Roottrees and this one switched up game loop in a great way. Reminded me a lot of the Return of the Obra Dinn which is one of my favorite games. The puzzle felt good to solve and mystery unraveled in a really satisfying way. Highly recommend and can't wait to see what game this company comes out with next!

原本推理推理过剧情还挺有意思，设定也很顶啊 但是为什么没有讲清楚所有事情啊为什么？？？ 后期玩的只感觉累和重复，设定反复被浪费，没有人在反抗诅咒，没有人在出力，就算有我也觉得演出的很糟糕啊啊啊啊啊，好浪费…… 深度不够，至少把背景交代清楚吧，有点虎头蛇尾啊，现在玩完只觉得拉家常……

我不能说不推荐这款游戏，因为剧情表现力的确可圈可点，但是缺点也十分明显，以下这些原因让人越往后盘越让人感觉[spoiler] “我做这些的意义在哪儿？”，一路推到结局还有几个坑似乎没填上，导致有故弄玄虚的嫌疑： 1. 怀表的意义是？ 2. 雷声的发生原理是？或者说它到底从哪儿来的？ 3. 埃利诺为什么是家族中被刻意遗忘的那个人？ 4. 这个宅子为什么被诅咒？[/spoiler] 只能说基本满意，由于我没有玩儿过tape help，所以在我看来玩法上是十分亮眼的，但是[spoiler]故事线没收束上，所以我觉得整体还是逊色于roottrees的。[spoiler]
