Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 2 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

unbelievably peak give kyoshika her own route
Yeah, no it's just... it's very very ambitious and content packed but the juice is not worth the squeeze. so far... I'm in sunk cost fallacy territory right now. I personally enjoyed parts of it but a lot of it is very frustrating, also after the first run... well you must have heard there are 100 endings and it's a vn so you can already imagine how or why that happens? it's also not a unheard of plot device in kodaka/uchikoshi games. Anyway i went down a path and let's say those endings were the most abysmal dog**** i have ever played... I kept playing just cause i couldnt believe it dropped the ball this hard after the first playthrough, luckily that was the lowpoint and the rest was better but even now... there is so many side branches and content that is just a repeat or slight variation, I'm at the point i just want to do a full finish of one of the not main routes and call it a day. Also let's talk gameplay... if you think this will be deep, strategic, or fun let me stop you right there. it devolves very quickly into just using tsubasa thanks to her no fatigue and 2x3 attack range. and the difficulty above normal is literally absurd. i didnt even bother trying it. I also have a gripe with some of the systems like gift giving. you have to give so many gifts it's be great to have a repeat craft button or allow us to choose who we want to give the gift to first and then give us the build options from there. right now there is a huge list you scroll through or go into filters and hope you remember the 2 that will show you what you need. and then pick who to give it too... it gets old fast. Overall the game is like a 7/10 so far. there are a lot of intriguing questions and reveals but so far they remain unanswered for me 62+hrs in... honestly I am starting to feel like the MC with how much my brain is flooded with different outcomes and possibilities that i can kinda forgive him the way he behaves throughout... but yeah.. just play danganronpa or ai:the somnium files, way more tight and concise stories.

Spoiler alert. I'll just come out and say it. There are multiple scenarios in this game. This game ends on a cliffhanger. There are legitimately 100 endings in the game. The story is missing that last final push where the entire setup and scenarios come together for that last push for the golden ending. After going through all 22 routes with their own endings with slight variations, I can absolutely say it's a waste of freaking time, UNLESS I missed a trigger somewhere and the golden ending was already baked into the game. And then the game has the freaking confidence to tell me 90% of the mysteries in the game are left unexplained. Yes, even when you have gone through the 22 routes and paid attention to everything, we are still absolutely at the tip of the iceberg. Some of the examples I'll throw in, without any context: 1. What the hell happened to Karua? 2. Was she even real? 3. Were the squad real or were they a product of human genome experimentation? 4. Why were the enemies so half-baked? 5. Why was there no actual ending and every ending is considered canon? 6. What was the purpose of setting up an ending but never explaining it like at all? 7. Why was there lore but there wasn't anything to tie up the loose ends? 8. Who was the last introduced character in the SF route that was only mentioned in passing? 9. WHAT THE HELL IS A VARIANT??????? 10. WHY WAS THERE A SUBPLOT OF POLITICS THAT DOESN'T GO ANYWHERE?????????? 11. WHY DIDN'T KAKO GET AN ENTIRE ROUTE OF HER OWN??????????????????????????? There are many more questions I could ask but bottom line: DON'T BUY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET A VERY UNSATISFYING CONCLUSION!!!!! It's a good game and visual novel though. I won't lie.
Most ambitious game I've ever played!
Insane video game novel right here. Took me a long hecking time to get through all of it. Overall pretty impressive how many storylines they managed to cram into this, even if i'd say they could shorten it here and there and give some more love to less developed routes and characters. But it is really cool what they managed to do here.
;_; A surprisingly profound piece of anti-war fiction. ADDENDUM: The Cult of Takumi route should be illegal
