Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A beautifully designed game with fantastic puzzles and world building. Highly recommend playing it. The story is great and full of impact. Maya is a delightful character whose spice and sass brings such breath of fresh air. Reading the blog posts about the art and the thought behind all the characters deepens the meaning and world. Bravo
Good puzzle adventure with a historic twist. The music and visuals are a bonus.
Although quite short, it is a beautiful game with a beautiful message about grief and losing loved ones. This feels a lot like a PS3 era Puzzle-Plattformer, and I mean that in the most positive way, it felt almost nostalgic in it's slightly janky mechanics and gorgeously designed world. Really enjoyed the puzzles, the platforming was alrightish.

this new game as out of this world, I loved the story, and the learning curve, the puzzle. i am still in the early stage but I loved it
An awesome short puzzle game. Enjoyable and recommended.
nice prromising game
Pretty fun puzzle platformer in a unique setting. Great character designs and engaging plot. Little rough around the edges, but worth the price.
Google search recommended this game for me when searching video games with Islamic/Arabic aesthetic. Despite the very limited number of reviews, the game is surprisingly polished and well-designed; the puzzles require a bit of thought without being frustrating. Though the main story about the protagonist coping with the loss of her father follows a fairly familiar formula. I appreciated seeing two historical Islamic women scholars included in the game, and both are portrayed as memorable and engaging characters. By contrast, I found
the antagonist "the Widow"
somewhat less compelling, as much of her characterization revolves around the relationship with her husband.
A labor of love that's a little rough around the edges. I was a bit put off at first when the character animation didn't acount for the analog stick moving rapidly back and forth, but I quickly realised that it didn't matter, and started enjoying the game for what it is. This is mainly a puzzle game, and I liked the puzzles throughout it. I never got stuck on any of them for more than a couple of minutes, and never had to consult a guide or walkthrough. They weren't too easy either. Even though the story didn't resonate with me, I did appreciate the characters and would like to see more of the scholars. I look forward to whatever comes next from this team!

English
Step inside the House of Wisdom and help a cast of historical figures solve their problems. The House of Hikmah is a game that surprised me, not because it’s tremendously innovative in terms of gameplay or even because it had been a long time since I’d played a puzzle game. Rather, it has become a game I can recommend to my friends who want to learn more about historical figures from a culture that’s underrepresented, such as Islamic culture. The gameplay is simple, but the puzzles can get a little more challenging as you progress through the game. It’s not a drastic change, and the difficulty curve is very well balanced. The game art is colorful and features beautiful patterns. Even though there are no facial animations, the eyes are super expressive and the characters are very recognizable. I think I’ve fallen in love with the colors after so many games with brown, gray, or muted tones. The music is great and really sets the mood for the game, though it’s not quite as memorable as in other games of this caliber. The story might tug at your heartstrings a little, it almost made me cry, so even though the game isn’t very long, it’ll have a big impact while you’re playing it. I recommend this game to puzzle lovers, those who enjoy heartwarming stories, and anyone looking for a break from all the Western games out there. Give it a try.
