For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. 10/10 The fact that this game was made by one person is simply mind boggling. For the first few minutes I thought the game was going to be cheesy because of the first few cutscenes, but it gets really amazing after you get into it. Little did I know that after 7.5 hours of playing I would finish a masterpiece old school survival horror game. I beat the game with both characters and all the arena side quests. I recently played a AAA survival horror game that cost millions to produce, and this game was actually better. + Absolutely NAILS the original RE feel, really fun RE easter eggs + Feels like a polished old school survival horror game + Level design is fantastic + Lots of secret weapons and costumes to unlock + Fun original cutscenes + Cool fun boss fights + The two chooseable characters have different environments, weapons and item placements, each game felt fresh + Joystick controls worked perfectly - Sometimes when you shoot your gun the bullets go through the enemy without hitting them - A few items can be too hard to see / find Developer please make a sequel or another horror game in the same game engine!
Genre
Ein Klassisches Survival Horror Action Adventure
Story
How do people not know about this? It’s just as good as signalis and crow country. It is a love letter to resident evil. Multiple difficulties, fixed camera angles, two separate campaigns, highly re-playable. Give it a go, it’s not perfect and the cutscenes are cheesy, but it’s worth the purchase.
One of the better indie Survival Horrors you can find on steam. I wouldn't rank it as high as Alisa or Tormented Souls but it's still a great game. Lots of Resident Evil style puzzles and overall fun gameplay.
I enjoy the tank controls in the older RE games but here the movement feels awful comparitively.
This absolutely should not have been a commercial release. The controls barely function (and I don't mean that as a "tank controls" complaint, I mean the actual control response is basically broken and it routinely fails to recognize d-pad inputs). Animations are wonky and awkward. Collision detection is deplorable, both in terms of navigating the game space with loads of invisible walls and in terms of enemy range. Don't waste your time with this.
For a game made by one person it's amazing and exceeded my expectations. you can see the amount of passion put into this game that is heavily inspired by RE. What I Loved: - The gameplay is really fun, smooth and engaging. - The hotel and environmental design are rich with atmosphere and detail, creating an immersive experience despite the quirky character models :P. Areas of Improvement: - Some key items were difficult to spot. - The controls during the final boss battle felt off—could be a bug not sure. Thanks IL PALA and well done.
Absolutely unexpected banger. If you like classic survival horror, here it is. There's some minor jank, and movement is a little awkward on gamepad (takes adjustment even if you're used to tank controls, you get used to it though), but overall you're getting everything you want from this type of game and it's mostly all well done. I did not expect this to be as good as it is, and have no idea how it took me so long to find out about it, or why it isn't talked about more by indie survival horror fans. Side note, there are some game modes that claim "coming soon" as if this game is still has content in the works, but browsing through the discussions it seems the dev moved on a while ago. There is still a full game here with plenty to enjoy, including a full battle/mercenaries mode, but it's a shame the rest of the content probably isn't coming.
Awful controls. Zombies take way too many hits. I wanted retro experience but this is just a frustrating experience.
This game is an absolute gem. Both the A and B scenarios are crafted with care and offer a great balance of gameplay variety, atmosphere, and some genuinely surprising shock moments. Is it scary? Not really in a terrifying sense, but it has a dark and oppressive atmosphere (düstere Atmosphäre) that keeps you on edge, and a few well-placed jump scares that hit just right. Is it classic survival horror? Oh yes, baby. Limited resources, tight corridors, and that constant feeling of vulnerability—it nails the vibe perfectly. The cutscenes? Cheesy as hell—but in that lovable, retro B-movie kind of way. It adds charm more than it takes away. What really counts is the gameplay, and here the game delivers: smooth controls, responsive mechanics, and satisfying combat. I only had a few moments (three, to be exact) where it felt like shots didn’t connect even though I was clearly aiming at the target—but it’s like your charakter just missed the target, not a dealbreaker. What really surprised me was the B scenario. It’s not just recycled content—it brings in new areas, alternate routes, and fresh challenges that make it feel like a true second half rather than a simple remix. I highly recommend this game. The fun factor is so strong, I ended up finishing both scenarios in a single Sunday—I just couldn’t put it down. To the dev: Make some marketing for the game and bring it to console. This game should be prominent.
