Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
The Great Empire: Relic of Egypt
Casual game of 2021. When an ancient pharaoh awakens from his eternal slumber and goes into a frenzy, the current pharaoh interrupts his honeymoon to catch the villain and restore the land to its former glory. (Developer) You must collect, repair and build. Remove blocks and most importantly beautify everything around you, in honor of the gods. Oh, and turn cabins into luxury homes. Very good maps, tricky use of resources, a good story and a lot of fun. The level of difficulty varies greatly throughout the game. This game is different than usual, because you have to rebuild a lot in order to act purposefully. My recommendation has it.
Fun! Classic time management. The only disappointment was the final level: way too easy and no challenge on that one. The rest was great though.
Joguinho simples em tema egipcio bem divertido pra passar o tempo. Recomendo!
The Great Empire: Relic of Egypt, developed by Platinum Games and published by Alawar Casual, is a classic time management strategy experience that wraps a familiar gameplay formula in an ancient Egyptian theme. The game presents a light narrative about restoring order after a once-dormant pharaoh rises and plunges the land into chaos, leaving players to rebuild settlements, gather resources, and gradually reclaim control over a fractured empire. While the story itself remains simple, it provides enough context to tie together the game’s steady progression of missions. The gameplay is built around the well-established structure of resource management under time pressure. Each level functions as a contained challenge where players must assign workers to clear obstacles, collect materials, repair structures, and complete objectives before the timer runs out. The mechanics are easy to grasp, making the game approachable even for those new to the genre, but efficiency quickly becomes the defining factor. Every decision—whether to prioritize resource collection, unlock pathways, or upgrade buildings—affects the outcome, and success often depends on finding the most optimal sequence of actions. As players advance, the game gradually introduces additional layers of complexity. New resource types, production chains, and environmental obstacles begin to appear, requiring more thoughtful planning and coordination. The progression is steady, with each level adding small variations that encourage players to refine their strategies. While the core gameplay loop remains consistent, these incremental changes help maintain a sense of development, especially as later stages demand tighter execution and better time management. One of the game’s strengths lies in its pacing. Early levels are forgiving and serve as a gentle introduction, allowing players to become comfortable with the systems before facing more demanding challenges. As difficulty increases, levels begin to require more precise planning and faster decision-making, particularly for those aiming to achieve the best completion ratings. This creates a satisfying sense of growth, as players gradually improve their efficiency and learn to anticipate potential bottlenecks. Visually, the game embraces a colorful and stylized interpretation of ancient Egypt. Environments are filled with recognizable elements such as pyramids, temples, and desert landscapes, all presented in a bright, cartoon-like style. This approach prioritizes clarity, ensuring that resources and objectives are easy to identify even during more hectic moments. While the graphics are not technically advanced, they are polished and cohesive, contributing to an overall presentation that feels consistent and engaging. The narrative elements are delivered through brief interludes between levels, offering light dialogue and context without interrupting the flow of gameplay. The tone remains approachable and slightly whimsical, focusing more on maintaining a sense of fun than on delivering a deep or complex story. Characters serve their roles effectively, but the emphasis remains on the gameplay rather than narrative development. Despite its strengths, the game does not stray far from the conventions of its genre. Players familiar with other time management titles, particularly those published by Alawar, will recognize many of the same mechanics and design patterns. While the Egyptian theme adds a layer of visual variety, it does not fundamentally change how the game plays. Over time, the repetition of similar objectives and tasks can become noticeable, especially during extended play sessions. Replayability is driven primarily by the pursuit of higher efficiency. Players can revisit levels to improve their completion times or earn better ratings, which adds a layer of challenge for those who enjoy optimizing their performance. However, beyond this, there are limited additional modes or systems to extend the experience. The game offers a solid amount of content through its numerous levels, but its longevity depends largely on the player’s willingness to engage with its repetitive but satisfying loop. In the end, The Great Empire: Relic of Egypt is a dependable and well-executed time management game that delivers a consistent experience without attempting major innovation. It succeeds in combining accessible mechanics, steady progression, and a charming presentation into a cohesive package. While it may not stand out for originality, it remains an enjoyable and polished entry in the genre, particularly for players who appreciate structured challenges and incremental mastery. Rating: 7/10
Fun and addictive strategy/time management game, at first I didn't like the graphics, but after trying it, the gameplay won me over. A number of levels are hard to achieve 3 stars even at casual mode, you need to think which structures to build/enhance to accumulate sufficient resources. Took me a few days to complete, this game has replay value to beat your own best time and try the expert mode.
