Very good overall, with some of the most consistently fun characters and mechanics in the series. The two main things to be wary of are 1) that cases are pretty long in this game, which is really good in the good ones, and really bad in the ones that suck and 2) the PC port is sort of sloppy, and there is a known bug where you will just randomly lose control of everything; either save frequently or download the fanmade patch (easily found via google)

this is definitely my favourite from the ace attorney series so far, wheter it was the charecter writing, the setting or charecter designs, my only real issue was how in some cases you definitivly prove the defendant couldn't of done something but the prosecutor forces you to prove who did it or it sticks on the defendant, personally i couldn't really find fault with this title outside of the regular ace attorney sticking points. the charecter development is good where it happens and while the cases can be contrived they are still well written for a ace attorney title, i would recomend this to visual novel fans with the catch of using a strategy guide at times because of the usual issues of the outcome seeming obvious but what you need to present at the moment not being clear, i put the effort in to 100% it and i don't regret it at all
구매방식도 불편하고 한글패치도 해야하는 수고로움도 있었지만 불편함을 뛰어넘는 감동과 재미가 있어서 추천드립니다. 전작보다 추리요소가 더 강화되었고 매력적인 게임 캐릭터들이 있어서 더 재밌었습니다. 개인적으로 역전재판 1~6보다 더 재밌네요. 그리고 하실 분들은 60프레임 패치도 같이 적용하시면 좋습니다. 한글패치 만들어 주신분들 감사합니다.
第一部伏笔第二部全回收，前面铺垫了这么久直接在2-5全爆了，最精彩的一集，2-5全程高能开头直接进入主题，抛去繁琐的内容直接开始推进贯彻了大逆转一整部的大主线，全系列最高水平之作

大逆12在所有逆转系列中，可能是优点最多的逆转故事集了，但也因此显得最终收尾如同三流扑街作者般草率而可笑。 每一个有缘看到这则差评的玩家，我都推荐你在逆转123合集之后立刻来享受更现代更好玩更好看的大逆12，差评只是宣泄我最最终结局和逆转没有新作的不满。

If Ace Attorney is an all-time classic, which I give it 10/10 - then I would give The Great Ace Attorney 20/10. I would consider it the best work in the entire series of Ace Attorney. Compared to others in this series, this game excels in its audiovisual integration, smooth animation and transitions, as well as its smart and innovative combination of real history of both Great Britain and Japan, classic literature ([spoiler] Sherlock Holmes, and Natsume Soseki's I am a Cat [/spoiler]), and its own universe. The character portraits are the most vivid out of the series and applies to all the characters with a name and appear in all stories. The music perfectly integrates the story, characters, Western modern elements, and traditional Japanese elements. Also with the progressively unfolding storylines and character growth, it reaches a level beyond what I initially imagined. The game is full of easter eggs that can make you both smile knowingly and be surprised, especially if you have played and loved Ace Attorney. read the classic [spoiler]Sherlock Holmes stories [/spoiler], and know a bit about British and Japanese history from over 100 years ago. The entire story builds to a climax at the end and ties together all 10 cases. It's the first game after which I felt lingering emotions even after finishing it completely, and I thoroughly read the behind-the-scenes content in the special content. Overall, in terms of completeness as both a game and a cultural work, I would consider it to be one of the best classics in the world. The only minor drawback is that the amount of reading in the game is quite large, sometimes I would think it is overly lengthy. And then supported languages are limited to Japanese and English. If you are not a native-level reader, it might be a bit challenging. Highly recommended it, but would also recommend to finish the original Ace Attorney first! To not spoil too much, I hided some words - but as a heads-up or hint, please also make sure to use search engine when seeing characters' names and some important historic events - they can be real or come out of real world!
