About

Scavenge and fight for your next day alive under the shadow of gargantuan war machines. Enemies in the game can literally tower over the battlefield. To put it another way:

The battlefield is unpredictable thanks to The Forever Winter’s Dynamic Encounter system: enemies have their own goals and agendas, operating in coordinated groups, undertaking full-scale battles — and they’ll intelligently react to your actions. The battlefield you leave won’t be the same one you return to.
Use your wits, stealth, and skilled gunplay to make it out alive. Choose your path in the shadow of the two great superpowers, loot the dead, and make it out alive. While the warring factions may ignore you at first, the more disruptive you become to their goals, the more they'll seek to remove you from the equation.
Ecological collapse compounded by runaway technological advancement brought us here: a dystopian world choked by 40 years of industrial-scale violence between two military superpowers, AI automata, cybernetically enhanced soldiers, human-machine hybrids, and relentless automated warfare. There's two sides to this war, and you're not on either.

It was alright to play back in 2024. Changes made since then make the game feel way too grindy and low success. Needing to complete a tunnel pre-level which wastes a bunch of ammo and has trivial loot. Just to get to the area you were after. Then if you die everything from the tunnel and area is lost. Difficulty should scale with progression. I had a bunch of guns, ammo and meds from an earlier state of the game which made things easier. I can't imagine trying to do this from scratch. Using the free kit weapons, limited ammo and no meds to get through two levels to make any progress feels impractical.
у этой игры большое будущее но ей не занимаются... а так интересная

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

gut
For starters, this game is simply amazing. The art, sound design, soundtrack, and lore are some of the best I've experienced in recent years. The gameplay is incredibly addictive... but gawd dayum, it's a buggy mess. Broken features, broken AI, broken quests—it's just one thing after another. Somehow, though, I've never enjoyed a buggy mess this much. Fun Dog has a great little project on its hands, and I'm very excited to see where it goes over the next few years. If I were you, I'd grab it while it's still on sale. I don't think I can fully recommend the game in its current state, but it's honestly worth playing for the atmosphere alone. I'll revisit this review when the game launches.
Add together, The Ascend, Arc Riders, Cyberpunk 2027, the movie Matrix the movie Mad God, the movie Dune plus amazing street stile Art and post apocalypse vibes and you get this Master piece!!! Trust me it will take a lot of hate, this game is stunning worth even just for the art. Way to go people!!!!!!!
Yeah.. It's ok-ish
So the main question... is the game good? the short answer is yes and no. From a purely artistic eye candy the game looks amazing and very atmospheric. The sound scape is OK, not amazing but far from poor. The game has it's quirks and jank which is expected from an early release title but given that it's from a small team I think it's doing well in some respects. Where is falls down is the movement of the player. Getting stuck or caught on the world for no real reason is frustrating at times and something that should be worked on now instead of bringing out updates to enlarge the game. The guns work well but there's only a few that work really well. They can be upgraded but aside from Mag's they appear more cosmetic than anything. I came from Arc Raiders with over 600hrs in game and this is one of the few game I'll team up with a buddy and go play. If you're fed up of the cheats, rats and debate about if a game should be PVPVE / pure PVP or anything else then I'd recommend giving this a go.
Honestly one of the coolest games I have ever played. The atmosphere the Devs have created with their art and the world building is amazing.. Unreal. This game has captured something special I have not seen or felt in any other game before. I play a lot of games.. Also patch after patch with updates focused on player imput..
The setting is awesome and the game runs super smooth. The way the characters hold some guns is a little janky, but for me that's not a big deal. Once you get past a few of the starter missions and get a feel for the game it becomes addicting. Definitely worth a try.
i think i need more powerful pc to play this game, buut i really i want it to play multiplayer :) Looks Warhammer with stalker fear and other things . I maybe later.
